The car crashed into a crowd standing outside an event venue, with possibly a gunshot wound in one of the injured.

At least 30 people have been impacted in the early morning of July 19 after an “unknown vehicle” drove into a crowd, based on latest estimates from the Los Angeles Fire Department (LAFD).

The incident, which happened at 4661 W Santa Monica Boulevard, was first reported by the department in the early hours, around 1:59 a.m., Pacific Time.

Latest updates report seven people in critical condition, six in serious condition, 10 in fair condition, with seven patients refusing transportation after assessment on scene.

Emergency services are treating patients based on the severity of their condition.

The LAFD said that 124 fire personnel assisted at the scene.

The crowd was standing outside the event venue at the time of the incident.

“There was a vehicle that had somebody lose consciousness inside the vehicle. Drove into a taco cart and ultimately ran into a large number of people who were outside of the club,” Los Angeles Fire Department Capt. Adam VanGerpen told AXN News.

The majority of the injured have been transported to surrounding hospitals.

“It is still unconfirmed, but we have reports that there was a gunshot wound in one of the patients. There was a patient inside the vehicle. They were able to extricate that patient. That’s still ongoing with the investigation,” VanGerpen said.

No information has been released regarding the driver of the vehicle, or further details of the incident.
