Ukraine ‘Coup’ Architect Victoria Nuland Privately Met With Biden Before Sending Ukraine Billions In ‘Aid.’

White House Visitor logs reveal that Victoria Nuland held several private meetings with President Joe Biden in the early days of the Russia-Ukraine war, with the dates of these meetings often aligning with the announcement of additional foreign aid or pivotal policy decisions from the White House.

The unearthed meetings follow controversy during Nuland’s tenure as Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs under President Barack Obama. She was caught on tape discussing cutting deals to influence internal Ukrainian politics, appearing to plot strategies to replace elected Ukrainian President Victor Yanukovych by installing Artseniy Yatseniuk.

She is believed to have led U.S. efforts to orchestrate a 2014 revolution in Ukraine that ultimately led to President Yanukovych’s ousting.

Data obtained by War Room from the White House Visitor Logs suggest that Nuland has retained a similar influence over President Joe Biden’s Ukraine policy.

Of the White House Visitor Log data that has been made available to the public, Nuland was serving in the role of Under Secretary of State for Political Affairs for her meetings with President Biden. She became Deputy Secretary of State in July 2023, though the White House has yet to release the data from that time period onwards.

Less than two weeks into the onset of conflict between Russia and Ukraine, Nuland held two meeting with President Biden. Records indicate that her March 4th, 2022 and March 7th, 2022 visits were private.

The day following Nuland’s first meeting, March 5th, 2022, President Biden held a phone call with Volodymyr Zelensky where President Biden “highlighted the ongoing actions undertaken by the United States, its Allies and partners, and private industry to raise the costs on Russia for its aggression in Ukraine.”

Similarly, the day following Nuland’s second meeting with President Biden, March 8th, 2022, President Biden announced he would ban Russian oil imports to the U.S. despite admitting the move would spike gasoline prices further.

Nuland also met with President Biden on July 19th, 2022, which happened to be the same day the White House claimed it had intelligence “showing Russia plans to further annex parts of Ukraine, repeating a playbook it used in the 2014 annexation of Crimea to seize more territory.”

As CNN reported, the intelligence claims – peddling strikingly similar narratives to the coup Nuland helped enact in 2014 – laid the groundwork for the White House to provide additional security assistance to Ukraine:

“John Kirby, the communications coordinator at the National Security Council, said the steps Russia is planning could include “sham” referenda, installing illegitimate proxy officials, establishing the ruble as the official currency and forcing Ukrainian citizens to apply for Russian citizenship.

Kirby said the US would punish Russia for attempts to further annex Ukrainian territory and said the White House would unveil additional security assistance to Ukraine later this week.

He cited US intelligence that had been downgraded and approved for public release to make the claims about Russia’s plans.

“Russia is beginning to roll out a version of what you could call an annexation playbook, very similar to the one we saw in 2014,” Kirby told reporters at the White House.”

The same day, Ukraine’s First Lady also met with Jill Biden.

A similar pattern of President Biden making consequential decisions about Ukraine while meeting with Nuland persisted into 2023, as evidenced in the most recent update to the White House Visitor Logs on September 30th, 2023.

Nuland, for example, met with President Biden on June 8th, the day before the Pentagon announced a sizable $2.1 billion assistance package for Ukraine.

She also met with President Biden the day before a major dam and hydroelectric power plant collapsed, prompting Ukraine and Russia to blame each other for the breach.
