‘One candidate has already proven heโ€™s more than up for the jobโ€“because heโ€™s done the job successfully,’ she wrote.

Sen. Katie Britt (R-Ala.) on Wednesday endorsed former President Donald Trump for president in 2024, saying that he is the one candidate who can โ€œachieve peace through strength.โ€

โ€œOne candidate has already proven heโ€™s more than up for the jobโ€“because heโ€™s done the job successfully. There is one candidate I know will secure the borderโ€”because heโ€™s done it. There is one candidate I know will achieve peace through strengthโ€”because heโ€™s done it. And thatโ€™s why President Donald Trump has my endorsement to be our 47th President,โ€ Ms. Britt wrote in an op-ed published in Yellowhammer News.

โ€œResults matterโ€”and the results of his strong leadership as the 45th President of the United States are clear for all to see,โ€ she added. โ€œThese past three years have felt like an eternity, but Iโ€™m sure you recall how much better off we were under the Trump Administration.โ€

The Alabama senator went on to speak about the former presidentโ€™s domestic and foreign policy achievements. She pointed to lower costs for gasoline, eggs, and milk, as evidence of his โ€œpolicies at work.โ€

The former president also secured the southern border, cut taxes and reduced regulations, combated the opioid epidemic, fought for veterans, rebuilt the U.S. military, and โ€œunleashed American energy dominance,โ€ according to Ms. Britt.

โ€œHe battled for fair trade and held Communist China accountable,โ€ Ms. Britt wrote. โ€œOur adversaries feared America, and our allies were protected. He obliterated ISIS, signed the Abraham Accords, kept [Russian President Vladmir] Putinโ€™s aggression at bay, stared down Kim Jong Un, and squeezed Iran dry.โ€

During four years of his presidency, President Trump chose not to follow his predecessors’ policy of engagement with the Chinese Communist Party (CCP); instead, the former president confronted the Chinese regime head-on, pushing back against its malign influence and hostile behaviors.

The Biden administration has revived the policy of engagement. Secretary of State Antony Blinken, Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen, Commerce Secretary Gina Raimondo, and President Joe Bidenโ€™s climate envoy John Kerry, all have visited China this year.

โ€œThatโ€™s why President Trump is dominating in the polls and why his insurmountable lead only continues to grow as primary dates draw closer,โ€ Ms. Britt added. โ€œFor our futureโ€“for the ability of the next generation to fulfill the promise that is the American Dreamโ€“itโ€™s time to ensure President Biden only gets one term.โ€
