Trump confirms Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi DEAD

On Sunday morning, October 27, 2019, President Trump confirmed that ISIS leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi was killed in a U.S. special ops raid in northwest Syria on Saturday night, October 26, 2019. The nighttime operation took approximately two hours and President Trump congratulated U.S. military forces on a job well done.

President Trump revealed that sensitive material was taken from the ISIS raid that killed the Islamic State leader, Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi. President Trump explained that the U.S. had been searching for al-Baghdadi for years, calling his capture or death “the top national security priority of my administration.” He went on to thank Russia, Turkey, Syria, Iraq, and Kurds in the region.

President Trump described Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi death stating that, “He died after running into a dead end tunnel whimpering and crying and screaming all the way.”

As U.S. Special Operations Forces stormed his compound in the Idrib Province, the Islamic State leader, Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi used an explosive suicide vest to take his own life and those of 3 young children that he drug with him into the tunnel where he died.

Trump also said that Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi had been under surveillance by the U.S. for weeks.

President Trump concluded, “Last night was a great night for the United States and for the world. A brutal killer, one who has caused so much hardship and death, has violently been eliminated. He will never again harm another innocent man, woman or child. He died like a dog. He died like a coward. The world is now a much safer place. God Bless America.”

President Donald Trump has fulfilled another commitment to the American people.
