HELIUM DISCOVERY WHEN NEEDED

Scientists and researchers are celebrating what they are calling a “dream” discovery of a high concentration of helium gas buried deep in Minnesota’s Iron Range. The discovery was a godsend since our supply of this precious gas has been dwindling in the US in recent years.

While everyone knows helium as a lightweight gas used to fill balloons and blimps, not many know helium is also used in liquid form as a coolant for such things as superconducting magnets needed to operate MRI machines and the magnets of rapid-cycling synchrotron particle accelerator rings such as that of Fermilab in Batavia, Illinois.

The gas is also used in the manufacturing of semiconductors and has applications in the defense industry, from rocket engines to air-to-air missile guidance systems. NASA is the single biggest buyer of helium as NASA consumes approximately 75 million cubic feet of the gas annually to cool liquid hydrogen and oxygen for rocket fuel.

Thomas Abraham-James, CEO of Pulsar Helium, recently confirmed this presence of helium could be one of the most significant such finds in the world.

“There was a lot of screaming, a lot of hugging and high fives. It’s nice to know the efforts all worked out and we pulled it off,” Abraham-James said.

According to Abraham-James, the helium concentration found was measured at 12.4%. Helium concentrations above 0.3% are considered economically viable to go after.

“12.4% is just a dream. It’s perfect,” he said in a CBS News interview.

The U.S. was the leading exporter of helium, but our government-run reserves have since been depleted and sold off to private equity firms. Abraham-James and others have since been scouring the globe for other helium deposits to help improve the global supply.

“MIRACLE DRUG” FINDS MANY USES

In the wake of the Covid-19 pandemic and related Big Pharma related experimental drugs improperly labeled “vaccines” as cures, trust in drugs for ailments may be at an all-time low. But one recent discovery is breaking through that mistrust.

Merck developed a drug called finasteride in 1984. That drug reduces a testosterone-related hormone in certain tissues, including skin and the prostate gland. In 1992 Merck initially obtained FDA approval to market finasteride in a five-milligram pill called Proscar to treat enlarged prostates. In 1997 Merck got FDA approval to market a one-milligram version named Propecia to treat male pattern baldness.

Some side-effects occurred with litigation to follow but overall the drug has been well received. About 4% of men who take it suffer from some degree of sexual dysfunction including erectile dysfunction or decreased libido. There is also some correlation to taking the drug an increases in depression.

Finasteride: “Miracle drug” regrows hair, heals prostate, and also boosts heart health

What is so interesting about this story is sometimes a drug is created and then it is found for uses in other afflictions in other markets. This happened to Ivermectin years ago. But our government and news media fraudulently belittled taking the drug Ivermectin for early onset Covid-19 labeling it as a “horse de-wormer”. The truth of the matter is it was invented in 1975 to eliminate parasites from animals and then was discovered as a way to stop malaria in humans and went on to win a Noble Prize in 2015.

Going clear back to 2010 (ten years before the Covid-19 pandemic) a journal article wrote:

Synopsis: Ivermectin, an old and safe anti-parasitic medication, may be useful in reducing malaria in hyperendemic areas through administering it to humans and animals to kill the unsuspecting mosquitoes who obtain blood meal.

DROUGHTS END

It is always interesting to people of faith when non-believers lean on to human understanding to explain situations currently of this world. Just as soon as they are proven wrong (by God) they are onto another issue to sink their teeth and false prophecies in to. I first became aware of this in 2007 when the State of Georgia had a drought occur.

Georgia’s governor declares drought emergency” – NBC News

Pretty soon the rains came and that Georgia situation was over. Last summer the big talk was Lake Mead of Nevada. There were social media content providers and climate change cultists all over the place showing how low Lake Mead had receded and talk began of both water and electricity running out for large portions of the southwest who rely on both Lake Mead and Hoover Dam to supply both water and electricity.

Then record mountain snowfalls and a series of “atmospheric rivers” (rain trains) came to refill the lake by way of its watershed and tributaries. Why are we not now seeing new content and news reports on this as a miracle or blessing now?

CONCLUSION:

Contemplating writing this piece to give credit where credit is due I was reminded of several Bible passages that relate to the short stories above.

God promises to provide what we need (Philippians 4:19, Matthew 6:31-32).

God has put a cure for every ailment in Nature. (Gen.1:29)

Climate change is real. God is going to always change the climate. Sometimes it will be to our benefit and sometimes it will be to our detriment. When the earth flooded, that was to the detriment of most people and science does now offer the earth, indeed, was completely covered with water at one point in time. Some scientists even believe they have found Noah’s Ark.

Belief in God is now down to a record low 80% and worship attendance is down to just 30%. I often ponder how much better America might be if we were to reverse this trend and give credit where it is due.
