Gov. Gavin Newsom and Elon Musk Fight over 1A Right!

Contact Your Elected Officials

Elon Musk shared a brutal parody campaign ad this summer on Kamala Harris (D) for President. It was brutal as it was brutally honest as to the person she has been as vice president and would be as president. It subsequently went viral across multiple Internet social media and video platforms capturing millions of views. Some platforms pulled it either because they were afraid of getting sued or because they support Kamala Harris to be the next president.

The ad is what is called an Artificial Intelligence (AI) generated โ€œDeep Fakeโ€ or spoof. It is a replica voice (it can also be a likeness) of Harris saying exactly what most Americans have seen her doing for the last 4 years as vice president as if these are her proud accomplishments. Occasionally, the deep fake Harris version is replaced with actual video file footage of her engaging in nonsensical word salads.

To the Donald Trump (R) supporting right, this mock campaign ad of Harris released the end of July was absolutely hilarious and it rapidly went viral on the Internet.

โ€œHysterical Kamala Harris parody ad goes viral after being banned by Gavin Newsomโ€ โ€“ Sky News Australia

The left, which includes California Gov. Gavin Newsom (D), a relation to Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D), did not see the humor in it and threatened a new California law outlawing AI generated deepfake content the left does not like. Once can imagine that will be anything that exposes them and their agenda. The left has been losing their minds over this video!

Musk responded with a post to social media after reposting the video noting: “The governor of California just made this parody video illegal in violation of the Constitution of the United States. Would be a shame if it went viral.”

Well, of course it did and of course that made Newsom even angrier. Gavin Newsom has threatened legal action to stop these parody ads as noted by Benny Johnson.

Elon Musk then openly mocked Newsom by noting in a social media post:

โ€œI checked with renowned world authority, Professor Suggon Deeznutz, and he said parody is legal in America.โ€

Since Democrats are seemingly attacking Americanโ€™s First Amendment Right to free speech and association, it wasnโ€™t long before The Babylon Bee, a news parody website, jumped into the fray coming to the defense of Elon Musk and all freedom loving Americans. And they did so in the most hilarious way. This ad just dropped in the last day and openly mocks California Governor Gavin Newsom the same way the previous ad mocked Kamala Harris for president.

CONCLUSION:

Former President Donald Trump often refers to todayโ€™s Democrats as โ€œliberal lunaticsโ€. They do seem to act like it with their speech and actions often times these days. What is refreshing about both of the above videos is the late night comedy shows (other than Gutfeld on Fox) consistently attack politicians on the right while giving the politicians on the left a free pass. Americans are sick of that and have largely stopped watching late night comedy. What is maddening about this to most Americans is the left makes such better comedy targets as they are so funny.

Bottom line and lesson to be learned here by Democrats would be:

โ€œIf you donโ€™t want to be made fun of and laughed at, donโ€™t act stupid (actions and words) and contrary to what the majority of Americans want. You are servants to us. We are not here to serve you. You seem to get that backwards and that makes you a stupid target.โ€

And for the liberal leftys who may be trolling me to fact check me, the Matt Walsh conservative comedy โ€œAm I Racistโ€ was just announced as the #1 comedy movie in the United States! His new movie openly mocks the DEI (Diversity Equity Inclusion) movement.

One of the ways Democrats are often viewed as stupid targets is there is a common perception they are being paid off and lining their pockets by foreign interests contrary to the best interests of Americans. There is an old expression that says, โ€œActions speak louder than words.โ€ Interestingly, for those who say Biden and Harris are not in bed with China and the CCP, TikTok was one of the first to ban the Harris parody ad:

โ€œKamala Harris Deepfake Removed By TikTok After Going Viralโ€ – Newsweek

And this battle promises to have far reaching consequences. If people like Newsom can prohibit this kind of Internet content, he and others like him are not just unconstitutionally violating Americans 1A right to be able to absorb content and think freely, they are messing with peopleโ€™s livelihoods!
