What a difference a day makes; in this case, Election Day. The election of President Donald Trump is sending shock waves through America and around the world. We’ve witnessed the left meltdown and vow to impede Trump and his mandate from the American people to rid our nation of failed liberal ideology, but the rest of the world is also in panic mode over Trump’s win.
A caravan of foreign nationals making its way through Mexico was 3000 strong and headed to the northern border of Mexico – until Election Day. With the realization that Trump will be retaking the White House, the caravan’s numbers were immediately cut in half. Hundreds of people are seeking out the help of authorities to return to the southern border of Mexico.
President Trump said on the campaign trail that the millions of illegal aliens Democrats allowed to storm the border, or just flew in, will be deported.
Trump’s newly appointed Border Czar, Tom Homan, has already made the network rounds talking about his plans for the massive deportation operation, how illegal aliens will be prioritized and how to deal with State Governors and Attorneys General that refuse to uphold the law. He comes across as a no-nonsense kind of guy who means business as is President Trump.
Trump’s victory has also been an injection of morale into Border Patrol. The Biden Administration and border czar Kamala Harris did not support the agency and repurposed Border Patrol Agents into babysitters changing diapers and transporting illegal aliens to cities of their choice. Under Trump, the Agents know they’ll have a Commander-in-Chief who is serious about American security. They’re looking forward to doing their job again and some who were going to retire from the agency are cancelling those plans.
The mere projection of incoming law and order is already having an impact on the illegal alien invasion without any official policies going into effect yet, which is sure to happen come January.
We’re also seeing the difference a strong American President makes on the world stage.
Russian President Vladimir Putin was in Sochi offering remarks at the Valdai Discussion Club when he said, “We [Russia] do not reject the dollar and do not intend to do this.” This is significant since Putin has been outspoken against the dollar for quite some time and railed against the fact that it remains the preeminent currency worldwide.
Shortly after President Joe Biden was sworn in, Putin took advantage of a weak White House making his move to replace the dollar calling it a tool of American economic and political war. He called for Russia’s oil companies to ditch it in favor of other national currencies.
Just two months ago, Putin again called for an alternative global payment method. He remarked that a change in international currency could keep America from weaponizing the US dollar, and indicated that Russia was exploring other currency options.
After the election of President Trump, Putin now says Russia neither rejects the dollar nor is planning to do so underscoring Putin’s hesitation to take on Trump in an economic battle of wills that he and the Russian people can ill afford while at war with Ukraine, a war Trump said he would end if he won before being sworn in.
In the Middle East, Hamas has rejected the terms of every attempt at a cease-fire with Israel but after Trump’s landslide win immediately announced their desire to end the war. Basem Naim, a spokesperson for Hamas, downplayed the election of Trump calling it “a private matter for the Americans.” But they know Israel will have a strong ally in President Trump.
Iran already knows what a Trump administration will mean for their regime if they don’t toe the line. In his first term, Trump pulled out of the weak Obama-Iran deal, imposed crippling sanctions that impoverished the regime and a US airstrike killed General Qasem Soleimani of the IRGC. Iran has tried and failed to kill him ever since. They certainly want nothing to do with a strong leader like Trump in office.
There’s a new sheriff in town and we know the force for good President Trump will be for America domestically, but it’s remarkable to witness the impact of his strength around the world and the fear he instills in those who would cause us harm – before he’s even sworn in.
