Pentagon Fails Its 7th Straight Audit!

In our last report we discussed Elon Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy working together as volunteers for President Trump in a new Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE).

โ€œElon Musk is Ready to Trim Gov Porkโ€

Apparently, their well-intended efforts cannot come soon enough after The Hill reported a news story the Pentagon failed its seventh straight audit Friday.

โ€œPentagon fails 7th audit in a row but says progress madeโ€

The opening of that article reads as follows:

โ€œThe Pentagon on Friday failed its seventh audit in a row, with the nationโ€™s largest government agency still unable to fully account for its more than $824 billion budget, though officials stress they are making good progress toward a clean audit in 2028.

The Department of Defense technically earned a disclaimer of opinion, meaning it failed to provide sufficient information to auditors to form an accurate opinion.โ€

The Internet exploded with this news across all platforms with one of the more interesting by a channel named โ€œMeet Kevinโ€. Kevin Paffrath is the owner of the YouTube channel Meet Kevin. Paffrath is a financial expert YouTuber with over 2 million subscribers. He notes that audits began happening at the Pentagon in 2018 under the first Trump Administration.

The most scary thing to Kevin is not the fact the Pentagon cannot account for $824 billion in taxpayer funds this audit, but that the government never audited the Pentagon until 2018 when President Trump was in office. He notes that this audit cost $170 million and consisted of 1,007 auditors.

To say interest in this topic is keen would be an understatement. A post to โ€œXโ€ by the account of Ian Jaeger, which was reposted by Elon Musk himself, received over 40 million views in 24 hours.

CONCLUSION:

This story is extremely interesting as there was a backstory to the 9/11 terrorist attacks back in 2001 many people never heard about. So the way the story goes is back in the days of 2001 Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsefeld was aware of $2.3 trillion dollars of taxpayer money missing from the Pentagon.

โ€œAccording to some estimates we cannot track $2.3 trillion dollars in transactions.โ€ โ€“ Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld, September 10, 2001

Rumsfeld admitting to this little accounting error makes one wonder if he was a bad guy admitting the quiet part out loud like Joe Biden did in October of 2020, or was he one of the good guys being honest not knowing what was about to unfold the very next day.

โ€œWhat Did Donald Rumsfeld Know About the 9/11 Attacks?โ€ โ€“ Joe Rogan Experience

Like many Americans, I have often thought at least a partial solution to this would be to have all countries of the world agree to prohibit hidden overseas bank accounts which allow criminals to hide money that could lead to their criminal prosecutions. Right now we are talking about 9 known countries.

They are; Switzerland, the Cayman Islands, Singapore, Belize, Hong Kong, Panama, Luxembourg, Liechtenstein and Germany.

I have often thought how interesting it would be to stop this in the dead of the night to reveal all the bank accounts and see how many of our political leaders have been stealing from us to pad their own nests.

Just like money just doesnโ€™t grow on trees, money just doesnโ€™t disappear either.

One of the things it means when President Trump says he wants to โ€œDrain the swamp,โ€ is he wants to provide some accountability which has not happened in Washington, D.C.โ€™s past. When Rumsfeld made his confession on the airwaves of the news the evening of September 10, 2001, he got the attention of many thinking Americans. No doubt one of those was the future President Donald J. Trump.

His admission was beyond disturbing.

Some conspiracy theorists now allege that the reason the specific portion of the Pentagon building was targeted by a missile was it contained records related to that missing $2.3 trillion dollars. Some say the reason why World Trade Center Building 7 was imploded intentionally was records of the money were also held there.

I try to think and believe the best in people and not wear a tinfoil hat but then things happenโ€ฆ

One of those things that happened to me was I had a graduate of mine in D.C. at that time who told me two interesting things:

  • He was getting gas in his car at a gas station when he heard a missile (not a commercial airliner) and then an explosion in the direction of the Pentagon.
  • Less than 5 minutes later when he was paying for his gasoline and two FBI agents showed up and demanded all security footage from the gas stationโ€™s security camera system.

Big bucks gone missing, D.C. keeps dismissing.
