No Laughing Matter

5Mind. The Meme Platform

If a smile can mask cruel intentions, then outright laughter can disguise great corruption. One of the clues that either is fake, meant to mask the truth, is when no one else is laughing.

Take former Democrat Maryland Governor and Social Security Administration Commissioner Martin O’Malley. In an interview aired on CNN the leftist autocrat responded with uncontrollable laughter when CNN’s Boris Sanchez queried him about the specter of fraud and waste within the Social Security Administration.

When Sanchez asked O’Malley about Elon Musk’s suggestion that millions of deceased individuals collect Social Security benefits O’Malley responded with an insincere guffaw. His laughter meant to mask the seriousness and truthfulness of the claim.

Sanchez was so taken aback by O’Malley’s mirthful response that he tried to sober O’Malley up. “You’re laughing,” Sanchez told O’Malley as he chortled. “But that is a concern that a lot of Americans have, is it not? Is it a laughing matter?”

O’Malley’s monosyllabic response was a simple “Yeah.”

In the next breath the cheeky chuckler admitted there was swindling in the SSA saying, “there are outliers” when pressed about the existence of fraud at the SSA.

As is often the case with career politicians trying to hide the truth, O’Malley’s “outliers” was his way of saying he’s an outright liar. Referring to “outliers” O’Malley is admitting fraud and waste exist, but with the implied caveat that it only occurs in small numbers or represents a fraction of the total.

Is a small amount of fraud preferable to none? In O’Malley’s case of course it’s ok. To him and his ilk it’s the cost of doing government business. Fraud is the grease that keeps the machinery of government operating at peak inefficiency.

Martin O’Malley is the smiling face of government waste and abuse. His arrogance and disdain for the taxpayer is plastered on his face. That grin is his way of saying, “what are you going to do about it?”

DOGE is about to slap that sadistic smile right off his smarmy face.

No one should object to an honest audit of federal agencies for no other reason than to ensure that our nation’s citizens aren’t being fleeced. No audit should require proof of malfeasance, instead it should be a customary and routine practice intended to maintain the trust and confidence of all Americans.

The train of government accountability can’t be derailed by a smile, or the tears of Democrats shed under the guise that Trump is a “threat to democracy.” Whether it be the Cheshire grin or crocodile tears, they’re both false emotions meant to hide the truth.

Our government is rife with waste, inefficiency, and fraud. We all know it. In fact, so certain is our belief in the inefficiency of our government, it hasn’t merited a single claim to the contrary in my lifetime. It has been an accepted fact of governance, at least until now.

No matter what O’Malley and Democrat minions claim, even they know government is mired in waste and fraud. The next question is, who profits from waste and the ongoing swindle? Those answers will follow quickly after each agency has had DOGE’s version of a proctological examination.

Then I bet O’Malley’s smile will disappear and he along with it.

The Left may laugh at the efforts of truth warriors to find and eradicate waste and fraud, but when the cackling ends sincere weeping will start.

Americans believe the frittering away and theft of their hard-earned tax dollars is no laughing matter.

If Nero fiddled while Rome burned, then Democrats and deep state actors will smile until their empire of corruption is reduced to ashes.

Anyone got a match?
