Trump’s Tariffs Will Work Terrific!

It is really odd when globalists and lefties put into use the term “trade war” when it comes to the economics of International trade. It is odd because if countries, thinking of their conjoined economies, as being in “a war” negative factors come into play as adversarial when they should simply be viewed as “the art of doing business”.

For example; when one country (America) consumes much due to its population and factors such as national prosperity, and another country (China) decides to impose unfair tariffs on that country (America) to try to tap into some of that economic momentum that could be viewed as an act of war. The truth in this scenario is communism is not working so it has to become a parasite on capitalism.

Now don’t get this wrong, many Americans sincerely like China and the Chinese people. But when the Chinese communists targeted and destroyed many of our American markets such as textile, steel, wood, drugs, electronics, etc., it angered a great many Americans who lost their jobs and saw what was happening and realized it was intentional.

American labor was mad at China for initiating this scheme but they were even more angry at our national leaders for allowing it to occur in the first place!

The Chinese communists would dump their cheaply produced goods on the unionized American market goods below our cost of production and soon a whole sector would be lost to China. I remember when Zenith Electronics had to close shop to move to from Chicago to China. I remember when Rockford, Illinois, was once “The Screw Capitol of the World”. I remember when Illinois was ruled by and home to Caterpillar, John Deere and International Harvester tractors before Kubota, Komatsu, and Mahindra started appearing to take a bite out of their markets.

President Donald Trump was, and is, right about leveraging International tariffs on other countries around the world to try to achieve some form of “trade parity”. President Trump has remained consistent in his position for 40 years.

“Resurfaced Clip of Trump Telling Oprah His Tariff Ideas in 1988 Goes Viral” – The Rubin Report

Interestingly, in this clip of Trump interviewed by Oprah from 1988 he mentions the trade deficit with China was only $200B. This past weekend he revealed that deficit is now $1.1T and has realistically classified it as “unsustainable”. In other words, in almost 40 years that deficit has multiplied almost 6 times!

The only difference is, 40 years ago, when President Trump was a simple New York businessman, prominent Democrat leaders agreed with him but now they have unexplainably changed their positions making them look like flip-floppers all over the map.

So if you hate the Democrats so much so you have left the party, like I did years ago, part of it can be explained away as Democrats are two-faced!

The other thing that makes Democrats so despised is they have the mantra “Tax and spend Democrats.” They like to tax Americans and they hate the thought of losing a tax like the income tax but yet, that tax only came about in 1913 under Democrat President Woodrow Wilson. Prior to that our country relied on tariffs to fund the government! Back in the day, as they say, we were pioneering automobile transportation and ownership as well as flight and railroads and we were the manufacturing hub and ingenuity center of the world. President Trump is working to take America back to a second “Golden Age” the likes of which we have not seen since the first one of the 1920’s before the Great Depression of 1929.

CONCLUSION:

There are a lot of stupid people chiming in on tariffs and how they are wrong bashing President Donald Trump. Now I got no problem with stupid Americans but I do have a problem with stupid Americans being elected to the Senate and the House of Representatives and then taking to the floor and showing off their stupid. When I was a child we only elected our best and brightest to our highest offices of Washington, D.C. Now it seems like we got a bunch of DEI (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion) hires in those offices.

There is a very informative video going viral on all different social media platforms right now. It explains the truth of what tariffs are perfectly and without bias. It pretty much explains them how one of my old high school history professors would have lectured to us as teens.

“Tariffs Explained Perfectly” – Source Unknown

And for all of the negative naysayers continuing to look for anything and everything to bash President Trump, the tariffs are already working! Some 170 countries of the 195 of the world use tariffs. The Trump Administration notes some 50 are ready to come to the table and talk about resolution to the problem of an unfair playing field in the world economy for America.

The tariffs are working but the mainstream media and Democrats are hiding the mathematical facts which are going to sooner or later leak out to bite them in the ass. Inflation went from over 3% in December to under 1.4% this past week, according to real-time alternative inflation measurement Truflation (https://truflation.com).

The fact of the matter is, President Trump is in the driver’s seat and those who refuse to get in, sit down, shut up, and hold on, are going to get left behind.

I will conclude with one little story about a man named Mr. Anderson I went to church with as a boy. He was a Texan who moved to Illinois to be a combine troubleshooter for International Harvester (IH) at corporate headquarters in Hinsdale. The U.S. – Soviet Grain Deal of 1972 by President Richard Nixon opened up a whole new market for ag companies like IH and soon Mr. Anderson found himself on his way over to Russia to help them with their newly acquired combines to keep them running.

Being a Texan, he was always in denim blue jeans and a cowboy hat. Well that just made the Russians absolutely crazy with envy and they made a demand of him for his next trip. They asked him to pack his entire suitcase with American-style blue jeans so they could buy them from him when he left home for America. He told them that sounded like a deal but he would rather trade them for Russian vodka instead of money.

Both parties parted as newfound friends happy with their trades. President Trump is big on America First and nationalism. This little story about Mr. Anderson offers proof positive how it was pretty cool that he went over there proud of the combines he represented but then was recognized for his denim apparel to boot. He let those “Russkies”, as he jokingly called them; know we Americans are very fond of their vodka as well.

This just shows every group of people have something good to be said for themselves. It would be awesome if the leftie liberals would start looking for the good in president Trump.

I love happy endings. Trump’s tariffs promise the world a happy ending just like Mr. Anderson’s trips to Russia!
