White House Lawn Displays Mugshots of Arrested Illegal Immigrants and Their Alleged Crimes

The alleged crimes included drug distribution, rape, and murder.

The White House lawn was lined on April 28 with mugshots of 100 illegal immigrants who have been arrested by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) since President Donald Trump took office.

The signs were printed with the names of each arrestee and details of their alleged crimes, which ran the gamut from cocaine and fentanyl distribution to child sexual assault to first-degree murder.

The White House posted a video to its X social media account, panning across the signs.

โ€œWe will hunt you down. You will face justice. You will be deportedโ€”and you will never set foot on American soil again,โ€ the White House stated on another post.

โ€œOh, and your mugshot may just end up on a yard sign at the White House.โ€

White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt and border czar Tom Homan hosted a joint early-morning press conference after the signs were placed, touting the results from Trumpโ€™s crackdown on illegal immigration.

That included a 95 to 96 percent reduction in encounters with border agents since last year.

โ€œThereโ€™s been studies done that say 31 percent of women that make that journey through of use of cartels get sexually assaulted,โ€ Homan said.

โ€œWhen President Trump has illegal immigration down 96 percent … how many women arenโ€™t being sexually assaulted by the cartels?

โ€œHow many children arenโ€™t dying making that journey? How many women and children arenโ€™t being sex trafficked into this nation?โ€

Leavitt highlighted other initiatives, such as Trumpโ€™s decision to resume building a wall at the U.S.-Mexico border, including 85 miles of new construction and 75 miles of temporary barriers.

She also drew attention to recent victims of crime at the hands of illegal immigrants.

โ€œThe first piece of legislation President Trump signed into law was the Laken Riley Act, which requires illegal aliens arrested or charged with theft or violence to be detained,โ€ Leavitt told reporters at the press conference.

Leavitt also announced the results of the newly-launched Operation Tidal Wave, an anti-crime initiative involving ICE and Florida law enforcement, saying that โ€œnearly 800 illegal aliens were arrested during the first four days alone.โ€

โ€œAmong those arrested were a Colombian murderer, alleged MS-13 and 18th street [Barrio 18] gang members, and a Russian with a red notice for manslaughter,โ€ she said.

A red notice is an international arrest warrant.
