Is COVID On the Rise All over Asia?

Contact Your Elected Officials

There a s very sad and shocking story out of China that is going unreported by our legacy media for some odd reason. It is said COVID is making a comeback all over Asia but particularly in China. It has been estimated that there were 8 billion people in the world with 1.5 billion of those in China alone. But now, some experts are saying the population of China may be down to just 750 million or half of what it once was in its prime. The reason for this population drop is said to be a new outbreak of COVID!

Many of the videos and social media posts imply China and the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) are headed towards an economic, social, and political doom. They all constantly reference the dwindling population of the country as COVID-19 variants are reported to be ravaging it. China, a manufacturing giant in the world, is now reporting they are lacking the workforce to even produce goods in their factories!

While not much news gets out of China unfiltered, there are occasional posts to social media like this one:

The problem with people speaking freely between China and the rest of the world are two-fold, communism suppression of speech and the language barrier itself.

This newest bout of COVID infections is said to have begun its uptick in March of this year. It is difficult to determine if this is a legitimate story or Chinese propaganda to counter President Donald Trumpโ€™s recent round of tariffs to level the global trading field between the United States and other nations. The problem is most of the sources of this story are of Chinese origin.

We did find this seemingly independent news source that carried this story about a week ago.

โ€œThe pandemic isn’t over: New COVID cases are on the rise in Hong Kong, Singapore, Thailand, and other Southeast Asian countries – should you be worried?โ€ โ€“ Economic Times

But Media Fact Check gives Economic Time, a news source of India, with a low credibility rating. However, we also found this news story of Vax Before Travel:

โ€œHong Kong Detects More SARS-CoV-2 Than Past 52 Weeksโ€ โ€“ Vax Before Travel

Media Fact Check did not seem to offer a review on this news website for some reason.

CONCLUSION:

I am not sure what to make of this story. The timing of it so soon after President Donald Trump assumed his second term in office as well as his imposed tariffs to bring about fair and free trade is highly suspicious. The fact our legacy media and the Trump Administration itself have avoided this story altogether is also very strange.

When the COVID-19 epidemic was first approaching the United States that story first made national news when it came to the shore in the State of Washington in October of 2019. Now, the media is not saying a word about what is said to be happening all over Asia.

I have a deep respect and admiration for the people of China. I have loved Chinese food since I was a toddler. I even learned how to greet them in their native tongue, nว hวŽo (knee how), hello.

My wife is on her second Buick Envision (2017 and 2022), which is said to be the #1 selling vehicle in China and is made there. I, having worked in the steel industry for a handful of years, came to know and love their steel product known as Hardox. That metal is the hardest metal I have ever seen in my life! It works great for the leading edges on plows where friction from the ground wears other steels down rapidly. Also, we replaced our gas fireplace insert with an infrared Chinese-made fireplace insert that is much more energy efficient. It is coming up on 20 years old and remains trouble-free.

Reporting this story gives me mixed emotions.

I hope and pray Chinese people are not getting wiped off the face of the earth by a man-made virus where we are not even sure the origin or who was responsible for it as of yet. I hope it does not gain traction back here on our side of the globe.

But I also hope this is not some despicable propaganda campaign of the CCP to weaken our resolve at reducing our trade deficit with China due to unfair trade practices. I fear this could be what this is really all about as the CCP has never been about being free speech and openness but they sure seem to be allowing their citizens to post more content to YouTube now.

Time will tell I guess. But in the meantime, watch for the symptoms of COVID in your own health and know where to get hydroxychloroquine and Ivermectin. Both work and neither one has ever killed anybody when taken according to doctorโ€™s instructions.
