Irrational Irritability

5Mind. The Meme Platform

Irritation leads to irrationality. And nothing is less rational than how Democrats respond to anything Donald Trump does.

A bee flying by can cause a grown man to shriek like a girl and flail his arms as though he’s trying to guide a jet fighter onto the deck of an aircraft carrier. Irritation, like an itch you can’t scratch, leads people to anxiety, frustration, and acts of lunacy.

Democrats are the cautionary example of this syndrome. They are driven by an irrational irritation, caused by Donald Trump, to the depths of a psychotic break. Nothing pierces their minds and emotions more than Trump.

They’ve become rabid dogs snarling at the sound of Trump’s voice. The image of Trump causes them to bare their teeth and foam at the mouth. Everyone watching knows they’re unhinged. Unlike Old Yeller, no one’s going to cry at the end of this movie.

Case and point, Trump’s bombing of Iranian nuclear facilities.

Predictably, Alexandria Occasio Cortez D-NY called for impeachment.

Impeachment is a rash with which the Democrats are covered. Crazed by the itch, they think anything the president does requires his removal. The ointment needed to quell their distress isn’t needless political posturing, but rather deliberate consideration and thought. No surprise here, their cooling tube of rationality unction is empty.

Some of these brazen, mindless donkeys brayed about the War Powers Act.

“It’s unconstitutional for a president to initiate a war like this without Congress,” said Sen. Tim Kaine, D-Va.

Chuck Schumer D-NY added, “We must enforce the War Powers Act.”

Feeling the burn, Bernie Sanders, I-Vt., said the strikes were “alarming” and “grossly unconstitutional.”

None of these charlatans really believe Trump needed congressional approval before the Iranian strike. If they had, they would have also called for its enforcement when Presidents Obama, Clinton and Biden did likewise.

Apparently bombs dropped by Democrats contain tolerance and diversity.

Yet when Trump sends thirty-six bombs to the most belligerent, aggressive, terrorist supporting regime in history, suddenly we need the loudmouths in Congress to approve it first.

President Harry S. Truman-D MO committed troops to Korea without a declaration of war as did Lyndon B. Johnson-D TX in Vietnam. These Democrats, in striking similarity to their modern counterparts, simply gave their bullets and bombs interventions new names. Truman called the Korean Conflict a “police action” and The Gulf of Tonkin Resolution authorized Johnson’s “military action.”

In neither case could the Koreans or Vietnamese tell the difference between war and whatever the US president was calling it.

There can be no comparison between Truman’s and Johnson’s actual wars and Trump’s authorization of precision air strikes to hobble the most vile and hostile regime in the world from obtaining a nuclear weapon.

Because they can offer no legitimate logical opposition to the commonsense policies of the Trump administration, they are left howling at the moon over everything and anything. Their opposition is so insensible, we can no longer take them seriously.

How can anyone take as legitimate a party that openly states they are for boys in girls’ sports, open borders, waste and fraud in government, and now for a nuclear armed Iran?

They would rather see the Ayatollah hurling weapons of Armageddon at Israel and the US than acknowledge Trump’s actions have made the world a demonstrably safer place.

A party without a touchstone, with no soul or sense of identity, can’t be trusted to govern. Driven by the irritation caused by Trump they have passed irrationality into insanity with no end in sight.

As the old joke goes, if Trump were to fall into the ocean and then walk on water to the beach tomorrow’s headlines from both Democrats and the Legacy Press would read, “Trump Can’t Swim!”

If he were to announce that by combining his hair gel and skin bronzer, he’s created a cure for cancer, they’d call for a ban because without cancer the world would be less disease diverse.

If the Democrats can’t stop the irritation they are headed off a cliff of irrationality. At the bottom of that cliff are the jagged rocks of reality.
