About The Author

David has been a youth water polo coach for 25 years and now continues to coach players and coaches around the world through his Shaquatics YouTube channel. As a youth coach he always emphasized good values and practice habits. The motto for his club was ‘Teaching Life Through a Sport,’ and his Child’s Guide Series of books is an extension of those same values. David is also a parent to three small children and wants to write books that will help them grow and develop into productive, kind, hardworking, and honest adults.

David is an actor and musician and can be see in such shows as NCIS:LA, Ghost Whisperer, Days of Our Lives, Criminal Minds, and others. He released two full length albums with his wife, Brittany, who is also the illustrator for the Child’s Guide Series. He is thrilled to be working with his wife on this series and they have many more books coming out soon to help kids navigate this world with grace, honor, class, and of course, poise.
