The House Oversight Committee, as part of its impeachment inquiry into President Biden, released bank records Monday showing he started receiving direct monthly payments in 2018 from one of son Hunter Biden’s business ventures.

The bank document shows $1,380 payments set to be transferred from the Hunter Biden-related firm Owasco PC to his father in 2018, after Biden was vice president and before he was elected president in 2020, and that at least one transfer was made on Sept. 17, 2018,

The focus of the committee’s inquiry is Joe Biden’s possible connections to his son’s questionable overseas business dealings and whether he profited from them.

“This wasn’t a payment from Hunter Biden’s personal account but an account for his corporation that received payments from China and other shady corners of the world,” Comer said.

The Justice Department is already looking into whether Hunter Biden used Owasco PC for “tax evasion and other serious crimes,” he also said.
