Changes to Social Security Start 4/15/25

As of today, April 15th, there are some new changes to Social Security that may impact some of you worth knowing about. The changes are engineered by the Trump Administration to eliminate the waste, fraud, and abuse the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) team found occurring in the Joe Biden Administration of the last 4 years.

A New Social Security policy goes into effect April 15th that will affect how millions are able to verify their identity with the Social Security Administration. This is an attempt to cut down on fraudulent Social Security payments and ensure correct data within the Social Security Administration’s records.

Here are the four situations where you will have to appear in person if you do not have your โ€œMy Social Securityโ€ account set up on the SSA Internet website.

1.  You are applying for retirement benefits as a regular retiree for Social Security payments that you want to begin to receive as a retiree.

2. You want to make changes to your designation or a claim rrelative to granting or receiving benefits in a spousal relationship.

3. You want to make changes to auxiliary benefits (also called family benefits) which are additional monthly payments made to certain family members of a Social Security-covered worker receiving retirement or disability benefits.

4. You want to make changes to payment of your benefits such as to a direct deposit banking account, or Medicare for monthly premium payments, or if you wish to receive checks by mail.

From the Social Security website is this:

โ€œHere’s a more detailed breakdown:

Who is affected?

Individuals applying for Retirement, Survivors, or Auxiliary (Spouse or Child) benefits, or those needing to change their direct deposit information, and who cannot use the “my Social Security” online account for these processes.

Why the change?

The Social Security Administration (SSA) is implementing stricter identity verification procedures to prevent fraud.

What happens if I can’t use my “my Social Security” account?

If you cannot use your personal “my Social Security” account, you will need to visit a local Social Security office in person to prove your identity.

What about phone applications?

The SSA is no longer taking phone applications for certain services, including those mentioned above, according to Newsweek.

How to make an appointment:

If you need to visit a Social Security office, Newsweek advises making an appointment in advance.

What about SSDI, Medicare, and SSI?

Individuals applying for Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI), Medicare, or Supplemental Security Income (SSI) who cannot use their personal “my Social Security” account can still complete their claim entirely over the telephone without the need to come into an office, according to the SSA.โ€

CONCLUSION:

This new requirement for in-person reporting to local Social Security Administration (SSA) offices came about after DOGE found 3,920,028 illegal aliens were illegally given Social Security and Medicaid benefits during the Biden Administration.

Further to this point DOGE determined about 40% of the phone calls to the SSA were coming in daily from fraudsters trying to make changes to either beneficiaries or direct deposit banking of monthly Social Security checks.

โ€œStaggering Number Of Illegals Given Social Security Numbers Under Bidenโ€ โ€“ Off the Press

The DOGE findings of this fraud committed by the Democrats and illegal aliens receiving benefits they were not entitled to are believed to have cost American trillions of dollars over the last 4 years.

Some other news developments you will not find in the mainstream media are as follows:

The Trump Administration is having the Social Security Administration classify illegals this week as deceased in order to end access illegals had to banks and benefits that strictly rely on Social Security numbers. This is meant to further incentivize illegals to self-deport.

Some 5.5 million illegals are believed to have gotten Social Security numbers under Biden Administration and some 1.3 million of those illegals went on Medicaid.

An unspecified number of these people illegally voted as well.

The odds of getting this stolen benefits money back from these illegal aliens is slim and none as many of them will self-deport with no visible means of financial support. The odds of prosecuting the Democrats who perpetrated this crime are much better.
