Sky News contributor Catherine McGregor says another week passes with “yet more ominous signs that China is committed to dismantling the global order”.
“There is no doubt that China was the state actor responsible for the cyber-attacks to which the Prime Minister drew attention on Friday,” she said. Australia was targeted by a massive-scale cyberattack, Prime Minister Scott Morrison revealed on Friday.
Mr Morrison said all levels of the Australian government and Australia’s private sector were targeted in the attack which he described as “malicious”.
“The communist regime in Beijing is now revealing its truly monstrous nature for all to see,” Ms McGregor said. “China is a growing threat not a growing market. And by provoking India, China has made grave error. India will defend its sovereignty and has very capable military.”
