Night is darkest before the dawn. The chaos of riots in LA is an inky midnight, making it seem the light of hope has been extinguished.
The legacy media and their co-conspirators in politics are in the dark, denying what they see in favor of what they want. Blindfolded by an ideology of hate, identity, and class they choose the darkness while America waits for the dawn and the radiance it brings.
Los Angeles news anchor Jory Rand told those watching the riots in real time that what they were seeing is, โa bunch of people having fun watching cars burn.โ
Modern television and movies might be hard to watch, but no sane person would suggest watching the immolation of automobiles as preferable.
Rand isn’t alone. The airwaves are awash in a tsunami of lying as talking heads from various corrupt media giants or dissembling Democrats, tell the American people what they are seeing isn’t really happening.
Whether it was the mummified Maxine Waters, D-CA or the dreadfully botoxed Dana Bash of CNN, the message is the same. Don’t believe your eyes, believe us.
Waters’ first-person account of the riots was blatantly ridiculous, “There was no violence. I was on the street, I know.โ Waters is of the political school of thought, “I am; therefore I lie.”
Cars are burning, stores are looted, rioters toss cinder blocks at patrol vehicles and police officers, but Maxine didn’t see it. Justice may not in fact be blind, but clearly Waters is sight impaired.
CNN’s Bash, while interviewing Senator Markwayne Mullin, R-OK, seemed uninterested in the riots. Instead, she preferred comparing the weekend violence to riots from 33 years ago. โI just want to state for the record that what did happen in 1992 is so different from what weโre seeing now,โ Bash said.
True, very different. The rioters of 1992 are all on Social Security now.
Bash can’t acknowledge the violence, even though it’s being played in real time behind styled and shellacked head.
As a mouthpiece for the Left, Bash, like so many others of her ilk, is trapped by a political ideology and irrational hate for President Trump. So unhinged is she that if a knife were plunged into her chest on the air, she’d report that CNN was offering cutlery for sale.
As a police officer with the Seattle Police Department, I stood the line at both peaceful protests and riots. I know what it is like to have bricks tossed at my head and to see the city and its citizens, that I swore to protect, abandoned to the avarice of progressive politicians and the lust of the criminal underclass.
The American public is once again watching and recoiling from the scenes of violence which makes them think, “this can’t be happening in America.” Foreign flags being waved as police cruisers burn in the background making LA look like a third-world city.
Thanks to Democrats Governor Gavin Newsom and Mayor Karen Bass Los Angeles is a third world dumpster fire, and we’re all getting to see it through the courtesy of cable news.
Fortunately, as demonstrated by the dwindling audiences for all legacy media, the American people aren’t being fooled. They do not believe what they are being told because they do not trust the people from whose mouths the deceptions gush forth like a geyser of delusions.
President Trump has deployed the National Guard precisely because Newsom, Bass and other California officials have been derelict in their duty to protect the lives and property of their citizens. Trump is right and the hardworking, patriotic people of LA are glad for his help.
Newsom would rather sue the Trump Administration than lift a finger to stop LA from becoming the fifth circle of Hell. He is too busy moussing his hair and can’t be distracted from his preening to attend to the death of a city.
Trump on the other hand, can’t stand idly by while Americans are hurt and violated, even if many of them did not vote for him. Trump acts in California, a state he lost by twenty points, as though it was Florida. He acts out of love of country, not political animus.
The same can’t be said of Newsom, Pelosi, Waters, Schiff…etc.
With the awakening of the American people to the constant misdirection of the legacy press and Democrats, the hour may indeed be late, but it’s not too late.
The light of truth comes with the day and dawn approaches.
