Did NY Rep. Dan Goldman Break Tax Laws or Worse?

A story began to go viral on social media platforms and a few independent news sources over the weekend and we are not sure what to make of it. There are certain Democrats in Congress people just naturally hate. One of those is New York House Rep. Dan Goldman (D) of the Brooklyn district of New York. Many recent posts read like this:

“Rep. Daniel Goldman (D-NY) caught stashing over $30M in nonprofit funds in a Cayman Islands tax haven. $32.2M in questionable investments linked to his organization.

Using offshore accounts to dodge taxes while pushing for higher taxes on Americans.

Hypocrisy at its finest… When will the corruption stop?”

Apparently Goldman has his hands in a charity the Richard W. Goldman Family Foundation. And, oddly, that charity has over 32 million dollars in an offshore Cayman Islands bank account where it eludes US IRS accountability.

What is odd about this news resurfacing now is we remembered this from 2 years ago here:

Dem congressman’s charity has more than $30 million tied up in Cayman Islands funds” – Fox News

It makes one wonder if the Musk investigators found Goldman’s charity getting money from USAID or that is a fear he has in the filing of the lawsuit to stop Musk???

“While everyday Americans are struggling to make ends meet, we need to ensure that everybody — especially the wealthy — pays their fair share,” Goldman once tweeted.

Goldman is an heir apparent to the Levi Strauss jean company fortune and has an estimated net worth of between $64 million and $253 million according to Bloomberg in 2022. This estimated net worth makes him one of the wealthiest members of Congress and in the top 1% of all Americans.

Today Levi Strauss is a liberal company that regularly promotes the LGBTQ talking points and agenda. For that reason alone, many country western fans and authentic farmers and ranchers wear other jean brands such as Lee and Wrangler despite Levi being the oldest denim jean maker in America.

Matter of fact, an original 1873 pair of the riveted constructed jeans was recently found in a Nevada mine and fetched a whopping $100k in 2023!

So one of the ways this story broke and began to go viral was when Goldman made a mistake poking the beast (Elon Musk) in this post:

To which Elon Musk appeared to respond to a supporter who posted a screen capture from Slay:

CONCLUSION:

This news breaking again was confusing to us. We remembered this article from 2023 relative to Rep. Dan Goldman and Arabella Advisors, a Washington, D.C., consulting firm.

Oversight Dem linked to consultants managing group funneling millions into torpedoing Biden investigations” – Fox News

Why wasn’t Goldman investigated for his Cayman Island charity 2 years ago if this was an issue and either indicted or given an “all clear” by the DOJ? Why does he have to base the financials of his charity in the Cayman Islands is it is operated legit?

Elon Musk and his new DOGE are exposing the Democrats dependency on government they love to create as socialists and some very interesting conversations are being started on Musk’s X social media platform. For example, Robert Sterling posted a graph from the 2023 census on household incomes and noted and asked:

“Washington DC has the highest median household income in America outside of California’s Bay Area. $121k, versus the national median of $82k.

Can anyone explain to me why this is acceptable?”

Meanwhile, Dan Goldman is going full ape sh*t crazy on Capitol hill as he works hard to deflect from this Grand Cayman Islands parked “charity” money. But charity begins at home, right Dan?!

“That’s banana republic shit. That does not belong in this country. What else doesn’t belong… is this stupid hearing where we’re talking about educating a workforce… while Elon Musk is destroying that workforce. It’s like we’re in la-la land, Mr. Chairman.” – Rep. Dan Goldman

Whether Rep. Dan Goldman is guilty of tax evasion and money laundering with his charity in the Cayman Islands remains to be determined but now it seems like Dan Goldman may have bigger legal problems with both the new ICE Director Tom Horman and Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi Noem. Goldman recently thought it would be a good idea to take to social media to tell illegal aliens how to avoid capture by ICE.

  • 8 U.S.C. § 1324(a)1(A)(iii): This section makes it a federal crime to “conceal, harbor, or shield from detection” any alien who is not lawfully present in the Untied States.
  • Penalties:

Violating this statue can result in criminal penalties, which include, fines, imprisonment, or both. For the first offense, the penalty can be up to 5 years in prison, and for subsequent offenses, it can be increased up to 10 years in prison.

To me, this is the most one of the most consequential unreported stories happening right now. We appear to have a member of Congress who requires a congressional investigation on two-fronts; Possible money laundering in the Cayman Islands and aiding and abetting in the prosecution and deportation of illegal aliens.

It could be just me but it seems to me the Democrats who attack President Trump and his new Cabinet and officials the most viscously are also the ones who have the most to lose as the Trump Administration carries on.

This story gets ever weirder, too. Before her 2021 nomination, Samantha Power, the former USAID Director significantly undervalued her investment in a Cayman Islands-based fund by nearly $1 million. But that might be just the tip of the iceberg.

Power, Biden’s ex-USAID chief who oversaw billions of taxpayer dollars, had her wealth explode over the 3 years she was in charge earning a salary of $180K per year. Where did she get an extra $23.3M from if she didn’t have her hands in the till for those 3 years?
