DOGE and Musk Recover Deleted Computer Files

By now most Americans understand that the only reason politicians and government officials delete computer files is to destroy evidence of wrongdoing. Most Americans probably learned this with the news story of Secretary of State Hillary Clinton using hammers to smash mobile devices and BleachBit software to expunge computer files in 2016. She and her minions are said to have done this in the wake of her Benghazi fiasco where 4 Americans died. She should have been held in Contempt of Congress since she was under subpoena but FBI Director James Comey at the time came to her aid and provided cover for her wrongdoing.

The lesson was reinforced with the voting machine software upgrades after the 2020 election where all voter data was lost making an audit of the election impossible, even though that data is required to be saved for a period of 2 years by law. That would have been the perfect opportunity to end those voting machine contracts if not actually prosecute those responsible.

Another incident happened with the 9 members of the โ€œUnited States House Select Committee on the January 6 Attackโ€ who could also be prosecuted. They seemingly willfully deleted all meeting minutes, record files, and evidence of their committeeโ€™s existence and activities.

This past week Elon Musk and his โ€œGeek Squadโ€ discovered an entire terabyte of data was deleted from government servers from the office of the โ€œInstitute of Peaceโ€. The data was reported to be โ€œfinancial dataโ€. A terabyte is reported as being somewhere between 75 to 85 million paper pages of physical data in size.

Further to this point of assumed guilt, this IOP office obstructed DOGE from even entering their building to investigate their office for a period of time. What was most hilarious about this episode in American history was Muskโ€™s matter of fact concluding announcement of this discovery after DOGE officials did gain access to the building, “But they don’t understand technology, so we recovered it.”

I am sure that was an โ€œOh sh!t!โ€ moment for many guilty parties associated with that office.

The news source โ€œAMUSE on Xโ€ reported:

โ€œUNITED STATES INSTITUTE OF PEACE ACCOUNTANT PAID $2.2M DELETED 1TB OF ACCOUNTING DATA

The U.S. Institute of Peace shelled out $2,232,500 to its outside accountant-who promptly tried to erase over a terabyte of financial records once new leadership walked through the door. Fortunately, the data was recovered. Less fortunate: they also attempted to conceal $675,000 in private jet expenses.โ€

CONCLUSION:

People online are bashing Elon Musk and President Trump from both sides of the aisle. The lefties are circling their wagons to protect their own from impending doom. The right is hungry for Democrats perp walked by FBI Director Kash Patel to Attorney General Pam Bondi on Federal Charges. The left is saying, things like โ€œElon Musk is a liar. If he really had something, people would be getting arrested already.โ€ The right is invoking the voice and memory of the late, great, comedian Chris Farley screaming into Pam Bondiโ€™s face, โ€œFOR THE LOVE OF GOD, ARREST SOMEBODY ALREADY!โ€

What both sides fail to understand is both the gravity and reality of this situation. If this situation is as grave as I think it is, it will take months and hundreds of lawyers and Special Prosecutors just to prepare all the paperwork required for these prosecutions of these cases. The end results could wind up having us see both Democrats and Republicans perp walked in handcuffs out of Congress and I am talking both Senators and Representatives.

โ€œ’WE’RE COMING AFTER YOU’: AG Bondi vows to prosecute fraud found by DOGEโ€ โ€“ Fox Business

And if you think I am crazy about thinking we will see Congress members brought up on charges, consider this: In Congress it has been said more than 50% are millionaires while less than 1% of the American population are millionaires. How could this be possible on salaries of roughly $200K per year? Elon Musk wants to know as well.

โ€œMusk hints โ€˜strangely wealthyโ€™ members of Congress are next DOGE targetโ€ โ€“ Fox News

What is most interesting, to me, is many of these discoveries of criminal wrongdoing DOGE was not looking for but found them by accident. That indicates to me there is a higher power at work in all of this.

โ€œElon Musk Says Institute of Peace Wiped Terabyte of Data To ‘Cover Crimes‘โ€ โ€“ Newsweek

What makes this act of the deletion of the data from this IOP server a criminal act is the date this action was performed. The data was deleted after it was apparent President Donald Trump was coming to office for a second term and that proves intent.

Growing up in Chicagoland, I studied the Chicagoland Mafioso like so many little boys. Most people wrongfully think Alphonse Capone was sent to prison for bootlegging, whiskey, prostitution, gambling, money laundering, and murder. He wasnโ€™t.

I once got to meet one of his associates as a teenager and ask some pointed questions. Some of what I remember this old man telling me still stick in my mind today as follows:

  • Al Capone never killed anybody in his life though it was said he was present when he had people executed.
  • Al Capone was loved by many Chicagoans as he helped to feed them during the Great Depression. For that reason many Chicagoans were slow to cooperate with law enforcement. Some of it was fear but some of it was gratitude, too.
  • Al Capone was taken down for income tax evasion by the FBI and IRS.
  • Al Capone was in prison from 1931 to 1939 at three prisons: Cook County Jail, the U.S. Penitentiary in Atlanta, and Alcatraz.
  • Al Capone died in 1947 at home in Florida of a heart attack after his health had been severely compromised by syphilis.
  • It was rumored that, just like Adolph Hitler, Al Capone refused to take penicillin (available in 1928) to cure his syphilis because of paranoia. He did take it later after it was too late.
  • This Capone associate told me he believed the expression โ€œFollow the money,โ€ came about because of the arrest of Al Capone. He said, โ€œIllegal money in America is like oil mixed in water. Sooner or later it always comes to the surface and shows itself.โ€

My advice for 2025, stock up on popcorn. Things are about to get very interesting.
