Don’t Let the Left Define the Terms of Any Argument

We need to stop using the language of the left. Progressives know their ideology will never win in a fair debate. They must hide who they are and conceal what they believe to trick the public into voting for them. Not only are they not interested in facts or hearing logical supporting arguments, they also use terms that are intentionally misleading and expect those terms to be used by their opposition when engaged in any discussion. These terms must be rejected on the spot and correct language used to properly define the issues being discussed.

For example, how many times during the campaign did we hear about โ€œwomenโ€™s reproductive health?โ€ The left coined this phrase in an effort to silence any opposition and attach emotion to the issue. They used to say โ€œwomenโ€™s health,โ€ but certain medical procedures like mammograms, which are indeed important to womenโ€™s health, are of no concern to Democrats and a distraction from the true issue they want to push — abortion.

If a woman is pregnant, thatโ€™s a clue that the womanโ€™s reproductive health is probably in good shape. When they say, โ€œwomenโ€™s reproductive health,โ€ just call it what it is — murder in the womb. When they say, โ€œfetus,โ€ I say, โ€œchild.โ€ When they say, โ€œmy body,โ€ I say, โ€œThatโ€™s your childโ€™s body inside your body.โ€ When they say, โ€œmy choice,โ€ I say, โ€œYou already made your choice.โ€ And when they say, โ€œabortion,โ€ I say, โ€œmurder,โ€ because thatโ€™s what it is — murder, of a child, in the womb. Donโ€™t use their language.

Also throughout the campaign, we kept hearing about the โ€œTrump abortion ban.โ€ This is a complete and purposeful misrepresentation of the truth. After the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade, the murder in the womb issue was left up to the individual states to legislate how they see fit. The collective will of the voters is shaping law for themselves. President Trump has nothing to do with it.

How about climate change? They used to say global warming, but that didnโ€™t work for all scenarios, so now they say the vague โ€œclimate change,โ€ or man-made climate change. This is deceptive because the truth is the climate is constantly changing.

It isnโ€™t climate change, itโ€™s weather, and it fluctuates. We can measure the same kinds of weather fluctuations on other planets. Who is driving SUVs on Mars? Whose carbon footprint is responsible for the red spot on Jupiter? The truth is weather is weather and it happens everywhere, all the time โ€“ even on the sun.

If you disagree with them, theyโ€™ll call you a climate denier. This is when you know youโ€™ve won the argument on any issue with the left; they have nothing else to say and are reduced to calling you names. This is meant to belittle you and make themselves feel superior. Or theyโ€™ll call you a science denier and say the science is settled. Theyโ€™ll say there is a consensus among scientists, which not only isnโ€™t true, but wouldnโ€™t matter if it was. Gravity doesnโ€™t exist because a consensus of scientists say it does, gravity is a measurable, observable truth of creation. Rejecting the leftโ€™s lie of man-made climate change does not make one a science denier or climate denier. The truth is, theyโ€™re weather deniers.

I need to make it clear that I am all for preserving the environment. We should be good stewards with our planet and make sure we donโ€™t pollute our air, soil and water and funding should be provided to maintain a clean environment. However, man-made climate change is a hoax. Numbers are manipulated, facts are ignored and climate change hoaxers do whatever they can to protect and perpetuate the lie. We have the emails to prove it.

Fewer topics are laced with deceptive language than immigration. During the campaign, anytime Kamala Harris was asked about securing the border, she would immediately pivot to immigration and say โ€œour immigration system is broken,โ€ and talked about a path to citizenship through a horrible bill she promised to shove down our throats. Immigration and border security are related, but not the same thing.

The fact that millions of immigrants live in America is proof that our immigration system is working. The problem is nobody is using it, theyโ€™re just illegally charging over our unsecured border into the country, and the Biden/Harris administration has been illegally allowing it.

Nothing irritates me more than to hear a Conservative utter the words โ€œillegal immigrant.โ€ There is no such thing as an illegal immigrant; in fact thatโ€™s a contradiction in terms. Immigration, by definition, is a legal activity. When a foreign national immigrates to the United States, no crime has been committed.  A foreign national in the country illegally is an illegal alien, not an illegal immigrant.

Theyโ€™re not migrants either. Theyโ€™re not migrating like a flock of geese that are going back when the season is over. Theyโ€™re here to stay, some for a better life, some to cause Americans harm, but here to stay nonetheless.

Theyโ€™re also not undocumented. If you go poking around in their home countries, youโ€™ll probably find their documents. The hubris of someone who only believes American documents matter is breathtaking.

This is an issue in which the correct terms must be spoken and the language of the left corrected on the spot anytime itโ€™s heard. Do not give an inch. Just call them what they are: illegal aliens. Itโ€™s not mean to call them illegal aliens; itโ€™s not unkind or xenophobic. Itโ€™s just the truth.

If millions of people from Myanmar charged over the border into China, what would the Chinese government call that? They would call it what it is, an invasion. They would stop it immediately and if the foreigners refused to stop, sooner or later bullets would start flying. No country would or should allow such an invasion to take place, and thatโ€™s what it is here โ€“ an invasion. If they stay, itโ€™s an occupation.

The left will always lie, twist words, misidentify or otherwise confuse the language any way they can, and try to redefine an issue in ambiguous or improper terms. Donโ€™t let them.
