Some people think California Governor Gavin Newsom is a communist or socialist. Some argue he is just a simple far left progressive. As the old expression goes, “Time will tell.” And that time may be now!
Mainstream media is, once again, doing a smashup job of neglecting what is probably the most important news right now, and that is the complete and utter destruction of California’s supply chain and economy and its all thanks to the Democrats led by California Governor Gavin Newsom.
California has often bragged they the largest economy in the nation. Google AI offers this synopsis:

Now, before you think, “Well, okay, California impacts me a little bit…” That would be an understatement. Experts agree fully one third (1/3) of the products to cross our doorsteps come by way of California!
There are many good Internet content creators but one of them who does not get the views and credits he deserves is Ramin Ekhtiar. This gentleman is a high caliber loan officer located in California who has a gift for taking the complexities of explaining the concepts of economics simply.
In this episode he highlights some of the words of one of the world’s most intelligent men of our time, Elon Musk, and then builds on those words. He comes with fact and figures that all of us can understand and appreciate:
- In 2021 California had a $97 billion dollar surplus, today it has a $68 billion deficit.
- Musk said California has moved so far left it takes a telescope to see back to the center.
- This left believes in concepts like $20 an hour for fast food workers is reasonable.
- This left thinks billionaire taxes won’t cause billionaires to leave the state.
- This left thinks you can regulate and tax your way back to prosperity.
- Since 2011 some 789 companies have moved their headquarters out of California.
- Those companies leaving took 77,000 high paying jobs with them.
- The top 1% of earners pay roughly 50% of all their income taxes in the state.
- Tesla has moved to Texas and Google has moved to Florida, states with no income tax.
- The California left wants to charge a one-time 5% wealth tax on billionaires.
All of the above points offer evidence of socialist policies working to tax the makers like Elon Musk to support a society of takers (Biden/Harris “newcomers”, a.k.a. illegal aliens).
The real cause of the collapse of the California supply chain is multifaceted and was caused by the simultaneous rollout of three new California State laws; AB 5, AB 692, and the ACT rule. Whether this was done intentionally to collapse America or not remains to be determined.

In brief, this is what we are looking at:
AB 5 – California law, also known as the gig worker bill, establishes clear guidelines for classifying workers as employees or independent contractors in the trucking gig economy.
AB 692 – California law that restricts “stay-or-pay” clauses in employment contracts, making it illegal for employers to force workers to repay sign-on bonuses, training, relocation, or other expenses if they leave before a certain date
ACT Rule – California is an environmental effort to replace all diesel trucks with electric vehicle trucks in the state. The problem is these trucks cost twice as much up front and there are not enough charging stations to support this change in infrastructure.
On top of the above was a Federal FMCSA audit of Commercial Drivers Licenses (CDLs) issued to immigrant drivers flagged 17,299 has suspect for reasons such as not being English proficient. This came after several terrible truck accidents killing people in smaller vehicles where the trucks were driven by immigrants holding questionable CDLs.
As if this is not all bad enough, California under Newsom is also driving out the oil industry from the state.

CONCLUSION:
The reason why I am very suspect of Democrats today is because many years ago the communists promised to take over our country without firing a shot. To thinking Americans that could involve toppling the country from within. One way to do this would be to integrate socialists/communists as a “good patriotic American politicians” who then adopt laws (sow seeds) to grow chaos and anarchy in the nation.

For many years there has been a theory that the subject of “climate change” is all about assuming power and control more so than saving the planet. This conspiracy theory of a planned lie has some validity as proven by the rebranding when the narrative has lost its luster. Recall “climate change” was originally called “global warming” until some scientists pointed out we were actually in a period of cooling.
Most recently we had AOC come along and trot out her, “Green New Deal” in 2019 to perpetuate the hoax. President Trump humorously called it the “Green New Scam” and pretty much destroyed it. And, as per usual, Trump was right, again. From yesterday January 15, 2026.

When socialism tries to overrule capitalism, disaster becomes the truism. We are seeing that in real time in California right now.
I hope and pray all that is going wrong in California does not end our nation but does end Gavin Newsom in politics!
