IL Gov. Pritzker Homes TX House Dems, Gets Torched!

There is an old expression that goes, “Turnabout is fair play.” This idiom dates back to the mid-1700s. It’s used to justify both retaliation and the concept of taking turns.

So, in this example Trump won and the Republicans took the House and now voting district maps are to be redrawn in the states.

What happened as a consequence was about 50 Texas House Democrats fled their State of Texas for three other Democrat stronghold states of California, Illinois, and New York. Their objective was to keep the Republican led Texas House from having a quorum to vote on a redistricting map that will potentially give the Texas Republicans another 4 to 5 seats in the House of Representatives in Congress.

President Trump has even said the Republicans deserve this stating, “We should have many more seats in California. It’s all gerrymandered,” President Trump said. “And we have an opportunity in Texas to pick up five seats. We have a really good governor, and we have good people in Texas. And I won Texas. I got the highest vote in the history of Texas, as you probably know, and we are entitled to five more seats.”

Thereafter the Texas Gov. Greg Abbott (R) put out arrest warrants for the 50 Texas House Democrats who left the state to delay the Texas voting redistricting map. Texas has even enlisted the help of the FBI to return at least 12 of the missing 50 to have a quorum to conclude voting of the Texas House Special Session. Last week he announced he will continue to call special sessions of his state Legislature until a new congressional map is passed, telling Democrats who broke quorum they would need to stay away for years to prevent its approval.

“But I’ll tell you this also, Democrats act like they’re not going to come back as long as this is an issue,” Abbott said in an interview with NBC News. “That means they’re not going to come back until like 2027 or 2028, because I’m going to call special session after special session after special session with the same agenda items on there.”

House Speaker Dustin Burrows (R) has issued arrest warrants on Texas Democrats, “To ensure compliance, I ordered the Texas Department of Public Safety to locate, arrest any member of the house chamber who has abandoned their duty to Texans.” Burrows also stopped all bank direct deposits of Texas Representatives pay requiring them to now pick up their paychecks in person at the Capitol.

So, as mentioned previous, these Texas Democrats fled to three of the most Democrat gerrymandered states in the Union where they were welcomed with open arms. One of those states was Illinois where Hyatt Hotel magnet J.B. Pritzker serves as governor. Pritzker has been showing political aspirations to ascend to the presidency after Donald Trump in 2028.

As we have mentioned before, Pritzker is widely hated throughout the State of Illinois to the point of people putting up their own yard signs reading, “PRITZKER SUCKS”. By almost every metric Illinois is failing and in a race to last place in the nation with California and New York. Four of the most common reasons people hate Pritzker are as follows:

• He signed into law an unconstitutional new law of an assault weapons ban which over 90% of the population refused to comply with and over 90% of the county sheriffs said they will not enforce. This unenforceable law is part of the Democrat’s “Protect Illinois Communities Act” (PICA).
• The Democrats made Illinois and Chicago a sanctuary state/city allowing illegal aliens to flee here to avoid capture by federal authorities. Pritzker is using taxpayer’s dollars to aid and abet illegal aliens and help them evade capture by Federal authorities.   
• Pritzker and his Democrats are actually suing the Trump administration for the right to keep their voting roles from being purged of dead, illegal alien, and moved voters. Illinois has been moving from blue to purple and the Democrats can’t have that.
• Pritzker and his Democrats have made Illinois the first “no cash bail” state whereby progressive liberal judges can release dangerous criminals back onto the streets to further inflict pain and suffering on society. This insane Democrat policy is part of the Pretrial Fairness Act, which is a component of the larger SAFE-T Act.

So you can imagine the joy many Illinoisans experienced when NBC’s “Meet the Press” Kristen Welker fact checked J.B. Pritzker in a recent interviewer that made him look even less competent as a political leader leaving the interview than when it began.

This little stunt by the Democrats between Texas, California, Illinois, and New York is yet another public relations blunder that has them losing ground in the battle of public opinion. Governor’s Gavin Newsom (D-CA) and Kathy Hochul (D-NY) looked just as pathetic as Pritzker of Illinois when they took to their respective stages to try to call out Republicans as tyrants, threats to our democracy, or any of their other tired and overused talking points.

CONCLUSION:

The reason why Democrats are widely considered to be stupid these days or “less than” Republicans is before this little latest charade of theirs, most Americans did not know too much about gerrymandering. But then fact checkers took to the Internet to educate America in real time with interesting little factoids such as:

• Maryland in 2011 redrew their voting map to favor Democrats 7 to 1.
• Illinois in 2021 redrew their voting map to favor Democrats 14 to 3.
• New York in 2021 redrew their voting map to favor Democrats 22 to 4.
• California in 2021 redrew their voting map to favor Democrats 43 to 9.
• Massachusetts in 2011 and 2021 redrew their voting maps to eliminate all Republicans 9 to 0.
• Oregon in 2021 redrew their voting map to favor Democrats 39 to 21.
• New Mexico in 2021 redrew their voting map to eliminate all Republicans 3 to 0.
• Nevada in 2021 redrew their voting map to favor the Democrats 3 to 1.
• New Jersey in 2021 redrew their voting maps to favor Democrats 9 to 3.
• There are millions of Republicans living in Connecticut, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, and Vermont (New England) and yet they have ZERO seats in Congress.

Here was another typical post on X by somebody trolling the Democrats after doing his homework:

So, once again, the Democrats left much of America wanting to punch them in the mouth for their lies and hypocrisy and that is no public relations win.

As this experiment known as America turns 250 years old, we have gotten things pretty well right but for this one exception. These voting district maps that control how many each state gets to send to Washington, D.C. to represent us do not work well.

I got two pretty good ideas how to fix it too:

• The first would be to change the House of Representatives from the 535 members we have now to 3,144 so we have one representative for every county of the United States. Have them meet and vote remote so they would not have to leave their states except for the State of the Union Address or national emergencies.
• The second would be a requirement whereby voters would vote for a slate of candidates of both parties with a percentage of them going to office based on the percentage of votes by party voters. In other words, if 40% of the voters to vote in Illinois were Republicans, than Illinois would have to send 40% Republican candidates as their House Representatives to D.C.

Simple, no more gerrymandered maps required!

But Democrats will reject both of these ideas out of hand because it means their jig will be up and by jig I mean this map of my beloved Illinois shown over the years as brought to my attention by Thomas DeVore on X.
