Just about everybody in the United States knows our rotund Illinois Democrat Governor J.B. Pritzker and his desire to run for the presidency in 2028. Not many Americans know how a billionaire Republican Governor just prior to him set up the blue State of Illinois as a “sanctuary state”. The TRUST Act was signed into law by Governor Bruce Rauner (R) on August 28, 2017. Another thing many Americans are unaware of is how Governor Pritzker made Illinois the first cashless bail state in the country. In 2023, Illinois became the first state to eliminate cash bail when the state Supreme Court upheld the constitutionality of the Pretrial Fairness Act.
But all of that socialism, or communism, or globalism, disguised as progressivism is being systematically dismantled under President Donald Trump’s second Administration, and rightly so.
What the legacy news media never reported to America is the majority of the Illinois’ law enforcement was against ending cash bail in Illinois. Most square miles of Illinois land votes red and not blue. For that reason some 90% of the County Sheriffs of Illinois’ 102 counties opposed Pritzker’s cashless bail experiment. This is and was significant in 2023 just as it is today. It shows how unpopular Democrat policies are. What is called “downstate” Illinois, areas outside of Chicago, feel Chicago voters often dictate the direction of the state without really realizing Democrat policies are worse for them than the rest of those living downstate.
Cashless bail essentially established a revolving door on Illinois courts allowing crime perpetrators out on the streets to immediately reoffend. Most serious crimes of Illinois happen in Chicago as many of those Chicago criminals know that if they were to travel outside of Chicago to commit serious crimes, there is a good chance they would be killed.

So now that the foundation has been set for this Illinois story it is time to get into the most incredible news that, again, went relatively unreported by the legacy news media of our nation because quite simply, it puts a very bad light on Illinois Democrats and Democrats across the nation.
“CARTEL TAKEDOWN: 800 Pounds of Drugs Seized in Illinois Pipeline” – TYSON DELACRUZ
Podcaster Delacruz recently reported on a southern Illinois drug bust that took in 800 pounds of fentanyl, 150 pounds of meth, and 100 pounds of cocaine. That is enough fentanyl to kill 200 million people! The investigation began about 4 years ago in the St. Louis branch of the DEA and just this year, under the Trump Administration, the drug bust went down. Those drugs were traced back to their source, the Sinaloa Cartel in Mexico. This cartel is considered a “Pacific Cartel” that operates out of Culiacán, Sinaloa just east of Baja California Sur.
Because of the new Trump Administration, 7 of the 26 defendants of this drug bust are now facing “narco-terrorism” charges. President Trump has classified this as a form of international terrorism and this means some of these men could be now facing life in prison. The combined actions on multiple fronts by DEA came between August 25th to 29th and resulted in:
- Arrests – 617
- Currency Seized – $11,111,483
- Assets Seized – $1,697,313
- Firearms Seized – 420
The drugs collected by DEA were as follows:
- 480 kilograms of fentanyl powder
- 714,707 counterfeit pills
- 2,209 kilograms of methamphetamine
- 7,469 kilograms of cocaine
- 16,550 kilograms of heroin
Experts assert that there are thousands of Sinaloa Cartel members operating in at least 40 different countries. And the most ingenious thing is the Trump Administration is now intercepting and confiscating the drug precursors (ingredients) used to make these drugs as they are being imported from China to Mexico.
CONCLUSION:
Mexico originally was not cooperating with President Trump but now they seemingly are. Venezuela still is not cooperating and President Trump has been using military deadly force to take out small boats in the Gulf of America.

Trump has not ruled out erasing cartels from the land inside Mexico and Venezuela as well. Both countries are now run by presidents said to be socialists.
Mexico – Claudia Sheinbaum is a left-wing politician from the National Regeneration Movement (Morena). Her political ideology is described as progressive, social democratic, and left-wing populist.
Venezuela – Nicolás Maduro of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela, Maduro was elected president in 2013 following the death of Hugo Chávez. His party secured a large majority in the parliamentary election in February 2025.
The two big takeaways of this story for ANY thinking American should be this:
President Donald Trump is an American hero doing some remarkably good things never done before for America. I understand those who don’t like him or even hate him but at some point you have to logically weigh the good of what he is doing with what you perceive as the bad and agree, his good points outweigh his bad points.
Illinois Governor J.B. Pritzker, by contrast, is an American zero whose very actions in the Illinois Governor’s Office seemingly make Illinois less safe and prosperous. People do not mass migrate out of winning states, the do so out of losing states. On top of that, this recent cartel drug bust in Illinois with enough fentanyl to kill half of America should eliminate any possibility of Pritzker ever sitting in the Oval Office.
About the only thing J.B. Pritzker has in common with Donald Trump is both men became billionaires in the hospitality industry (Hyatt verses Trump), period. After that, all similarities are over.
Criminals always look for the weakest link of the chain to set up operations and, apparently, Pritzker made Illinois the weakest link in the chain of our 50 states! The legacy news media is not reporting on this because they have their cheerleader outfits on for Governors Gavin Newsom (D-CA) or J.B. Pritzker, (D-IL) as our next president but as the children’s book Donald Trump once authored is titled “Winners Aren’t Losers”
