Illinois is Failing Due to Democrats

J.B. Pritzker has thrust himself into the limelight and on center stage in an obvious attempt to run for the presidency in 2028. However, in doing so, he is also giving America its first glimpse of the insanity that is the Democrat Party of Illinois under his leadership. Here is a little hint as to the direction this article is going. There have been over 4,000 House Bills proposed in Illinois thus far in just the first 4 months of the year.

Like we just witnessed under the Joe Biden Administration, the main problem with this type of Democrat leadership is it is fraudulent. It is not based in American democracy and the will of the people, but rather socialism/communism and the will of the elite running the show.

The first indications of this are as follows:

• Make people reliant on government to meet their daily needs.
• Overload the economic system with takers over makers.
• Tax the people heavily and spend their money on infrastructure products and entitlement programs.
• Control the narrative that they are right and any opposition to them is wrong.
• Ignore the will of the majority of the people.
• Control election outcomes because that is the only way they can take over this country. 

President Donald Trump has often referred to the leadership people exercising these practices as “left wing lunatics”. Of course those in his target zone refer to him as “a name caller” but to everyone else who is sane, there is no better description of who they are.

Here is just a short take on some of the left’s lunacy in lawmaking of the last 4 years in Illinois. Some of these are proposed, some have passed the Illinois House, and some have been signed into law. Many violate the U.S. and Illinois Constitutions and most are against the will of the majority of the citizens of Illinois.

• Legalize prostitution but call it “sex workers”.
• Universal healthcare (for illegal aliens, too).
• Voter ID ban against President Trump’s order.
• Legalizing Psilocybin (magic mushrooms).
• Progressive graduated state income tax.
• Make obesity a protected class.
• Taxing drivers per miles driven in a new road tax.
• Allow sex offenders to live by schools and playgrounds.
• Make it legal for people with mental health episodes to attack police officers.
• Ban cops from pulling people over for certain common moving violations.
• Remove custody of parents from minor children if they do not allow gender change.
• Repeal a law that imposes life sentences for repeat violent criminals.
• Change the term for criminals of “offender” to “justice-impacted individual”.
• Put burdensome regulations on families choosing to homeschool.
• Require female students in locker rooms with males changing clothes.
• Remove student test scores from teacher evaluations.
• Implement a cashless bail system.
• Ban future sales of semi-automatic (assault-grade) weapons and high capacity magazines.
• Raise the Firearm Owner’s Identification (FOID) card age to 21.
• Red flag law to extend removal of guns for up to a year from those deemed dangerous.
• Ban plastic eating utensils.

Illinois Democrats want to distract the public with outlandishly bad bills instead of focusing on a balanced budget, redrawing gerrymandered voting districts, or instituting ethics reform like a state DOGE office.

Governor J.B. Pritzker and his failed leadership now have Illinois looking at a record $3.2 billion dollar shortfall in tax revenue for fiscal year 2026. Chicago has a $1 billion dollar shortfall. Much of this deficit spending is believed to have been the result of both the governor and mayor aiding and abetting the recent influx of illegal aliens compliments of Joe Biden.

Illinois Republican lawmakers were recently asked to reveal the most insane Illinois House Bills they have seen come before them in an interview.

CONCLUSION:

The Illinois State legislature passed an almost 800-page laughably named Safety, Accountability, Fairness and Equity-Today Act, (SAFE-T Act) in the middle of the night in 2022. With only 40 minutes of public review before passage, the legislature and governor were in violation of state law requiring public hearings and advance notice in readings. This new illegal law is Illinois’ version of a cashless bail law.

If that is not bad enough…

Thereafter Illinois Governor J.B. Pritzker signed off on a bill allowing illegal aliens to become law enforcement officers in 2023. Also that same year, a new law was passed to block the police from making arrests for criminal trespass.

Make no mistake; the rise in crime throughout America is intentional and encouraged by the socialists of the left. This is a ploy of our enemies within to create as much future anarchy and chaos as possible. This needs to be addressed soon.

Illinois is one of the most taxed and least desirable states to live in now thanks to the Democrats. On top of that, the more stupidity they engage in as lawmakers, the more people and businesses leave which increases the problem causing Illinois to be a Death Spiral State (revenue does not meet payments due).

Happily, many of the people left in Illinois (like yours truly) are pretty great though.

When Pritzker tried to illegally and unconstitutionally lock down the state for the COVID-19 pandemic Fauci Protocol, Illinoisans exercised civil disobedience meeting out in public to determine Fauci’s “Super Spreader Events” were a lie.

Similarly, when Pritzker enacted an illegal and unconstitutional “assault rifle gun ban”, 90% of the county sheriffs said they would not enforce it and less than 5% of the grandfathered gun owners complied with Pritzker’s registration system. Some of us who did not own one previously would now like to sue Pritzker for violating our Second Amendment right in a class action lawsuit (I did not want one before but now I think I do).

Pritzker does not belong in Illinois. He is a migrant from California where his liberal roots grew. He is akin to Barack Obama who also did not belong in Illinois as he is a Marxist who migrated here from Hawaii, also a left leaning state.

So smart people will ask: Why are these liberal lefties choosing Illinois as a stepping stone to the presidency?

And for the record, it has been reported 87% of the country now wants nation-wide ID for voting in elections contrary to what the Democrats want.

Having grown up as a Chicagoland boy, I would say it is time for Chuck Schumer to get “tuned up” because he is unwilling to dance to the music the American public wants to play.
