The Safeguard American Voter Eligibility Act, or SAVE Act, would amend the National Voter Registration Act of 1993. It would require proof of U.S. citizenship in order to register to vote in federal elections. This new bill defines what will constitute acceptable documentation of citizenship for voting, such as a REAL ID-compliant identification card, U.S. passport, or birth certificate. It will require states to implement a program to verify citizenship status of individuals seeking to register to vote, and it will provide federal agencies with processes to assist states in confirming citizenship. If enacted, the bill will impose criminal penalties for election officials who register noncitizens to vote. According to the National Conference of State Legislatures, 36 states have now approved voter ID laws that require or request voters to present ID at their polls.
A gentleman by the name of Davis Jones who is content provider on YouTube does an outstanding job of explaining both this new act as well as how voting in America has been practiced in past elections in a non-partisan way. He should have way more views than he has.
“Voter ID Laws & the SAVE Act” – Davis Jones
This hot topic of voter I.D. with in-person voting is a partisan issue.
Democrats:
oppose any such efforts by the Trump Administration saying it violates voting rights and poses as a hindrance to voters. They claim we already have enough voting laws on the books to secure our elections and those existing laws just need to be enforced. Thus far they have 8 Republican Senators going along with them voting against the SAVE Act for unknown reasons:
- Katie Britt
- Lisa Murkowski
- John Boozman
- Todd Young
- Chuck Grassley
- Jerry Moran
- Mitch McConnell
- Susan Collins
Republicans:
call out Democrats for gaslighting Americans and list all of the things that do require I.D. in America already:
- Boarding Commercial Flights: A REAL ID-compliant state driver’s license or ID is necessary to board federally regulated commercial aircraft for national flights.
- Entering Federal Facilities: Access to certain federal buildings and military installations requires a REAL ID or other approved identification.
- Applying for a U.S. Passport: A primary photo ID is needed when applying in person, along with a photocopy of the ID and birth certificate.
- Federal Identity Verification: When verifying identity for federal services, two forms of ID are typically required, including at least one primary ID.
- Banking Services: Opening a bank account or cashing checks usually requires a government-issued photo ID.
- Credit Card Applications: Identification is often needed to apply for credit cards or loans.
- Purchasing Products: Related to alcohol, sexuality, tobacco a valid ID is required to verify age when buying alcohol or tobacco products.
- Entering Age-Restricted Venues: Many clubs, bars, and events require ID for entry to confirm age.
- Job Applications: Employers often require ID to verify identity and eligibility to work.
- Court Appearances: Identification may be necessary for entering courthouses or during legal proceedings.
- Medical Appointments: Some healthcare providers may ask for ID to confirm identity before providing services.
- Renting Vehicles: A valid driver’s license is typically required to rent a car.
- Checking into Hotels/Motels: Hotels and Motels usually require a government-issued ID for check-in.

- Sporting Activities: Hunting, fishing, trapping, as well as related transportation vehicles for same (ATCs, ATVs, snowmobiles, etc.) require ID for licensing.
- Real Estate Transactions: Renting, leasing and owning all require ID before habitation.
Iowa Senator Chuck Grassley (R) received the anger of many Republicans across the nation this week when he sent a letter to a constituent which was posted on social media Tuesday evening by MAGA activist Scott Presler. Grassley, the Senate’s 92-year-old president pro tempore, expressed sympathy for this correspondent’s stated concerns about election security and then added: “I have opposed partisan efforts in Washington, D.C. to federalize elections in order to undermine election integrity… I do not believe that Iowa and other states need politicians in Washington, D.C., dictating and controlling how states run their elections.”
Journalist and celebrity personality Tomi Lahren recently conducted an interview with Scott Presler about the recently exposed fraud allowed in the Minnesota “voting voucher system”.

CONCLUSION:
Conservative Republican Americans have long trusted 92 year old Iowa Republican Senator Chuck Grassley for many years to do what is right and what is the will of the majority of the American people. But now these same voters are pondering aloud if he is being blackmailed and what dirt somebody in D.C. may have on him.
Senator Grassley can be reached at (202) 224-3744 to express your desires and opinions in a respectful calm fashion. I just did so to show I am not just talk and to make sure Grassley’s voice mailbox was not full.

There is an old adage going around on the Internet that holds, “The only reason why some people do not want voter I.D. is so they can cheat!”
They say 84% of all Americans support voter I.D. laws. Another poll found that almost 80% of Americans are opposed to illegal aliens being allowed to vote in our elections.
Why?
Because if cheating is allowed, it diminishes the value of their legitimate votes!
“Demand the SAVE Act” – WECU MEDIA
In 2024 the Oversight Project did a documentary where they surveyed illegal aliens where they found fully 10% of them admitted to being registered to vote!
