To many thinking conservatives, the mainstream news media has become virtually unwatchable. People with above average intelligence quotients (IQs) are fully aware when they are becoming victims of misinformation, disinformation, or mal-information (malicious). What many of these same people are not aware of is how this situation came to be.
The answer is it is the fault of former President Barack Obama when he approved legislation consolidated oversight of U.S. nonmilitary broadcasting in the hands of a single chief executive officer (CEO). His new law replaced the presidentially appointed bipartisan voting Broadcasting Board of Governors (BBG’s) with a single decision-maker CEO appointed by the White House subject to Senate confirmation who would answer to nobody but the president!
At that time, back in 2017, critics warned the Obama Administration that this was a really bad idea and would offer the opportunity for abuse by way of news bias. They were right, it did and it is running amuck full throttle today!
In 2018 the organization went through a name change to The United States Agency for Global Media (USAGM). So who did the Biden Administration select to head that agency up in 2021? Amanda Bennett a Pulitzer Prize-winning author, investigative journalist and editor. Previously she was Executive Editor of Bloomberg News (of Never-Trumper little Mikey Bloomberg).
Things have become so bad over this authoritarian politically biased change a number of real journalists have been let go from their previous news reporting jobs and had to go independent. Some wound up at News Nation while others have gone off on their own to establish their own podcasts. One such example is John Stossel.

Stossel is known from previous positions with both ABC News and Fox News before he wound up on his own. In the segment above Stossel notes how Democrat and Republican politicians are not treated the same. He has always been very well liked and respected as a journalist by the public. He identifies as a Libertarian politically.
I hope former President Donald Trump gets a second term. Not because I am such a big fan of his or am now in a cult but because of him. It is because I am smart enough to know the Democrats are gaming the news media system because most Americans are too smart to want the socialism that comes along with their party today. We need Trump to change things back when it comes to news media and “truth in news”. Here is an example of how what the Democrats have done is not just dishonest but dangerous as well.
The Houston church shooter at Joel Olsteen’s mega church Sunday was reported as one Genesse Ivonne Moreno, 36. It was also reported she came to the church wearing a trench coat with an “assault style rifle”. What was conveniently left out of early reports (presumably because it blows up the Democrat’s narrative) was she had prior arrest records, was born a woman who dabbled with becoming a transgender man, brought her own kid as a human shield to the shooting, had prior mental health episodes including schizophrenia, was an immigrant from El Salvador who seems to have been here illegally.
Of course the media let out she had a “Free Palestine” sticker on her gunstock as that fit their narrative. It was later reported she voted in the 2020 election. Her ex-husband and inlaws are Jewish. She hated her own son so much she simply addressed him as “The Boy”. The Boy became collateral damage in the police shooting getting shot in the head. He is not expected to survive. He, too, was said to be mentally challenged.
So once again, a truthful news media report of this incident would expose this as another failure of the Joe Biden Administration. The first failure he gets credit for is his open border policy which is not properly vetting immigrants. His second failure is how his background check system of the National Instant Criminal Background Check System (NICS) of the ATF did not catch the red flags of both her previous mental health problems and arrest records. One has to wonder if her being here illegally contributed to the system possibly failing us as Americans.

CONCLUSION:
Once again the church shooting Sunday shows this was not a gun problem but a people problem. Two good guys with guns (cops) took out one seriously deranged criminal with a gun… a criminal the system did not prosecute properly for the protection of society. That should also put the “Defund the Police” campaign to bed forever.
Whether the next president, Democrat or Republican, can undo the damage Obama did by restoring some accountability to the news media anybody’s guess. But the American public is not without the power and tools for correction themselves. Anheuser-Busch found out what a public boycott of a product can do after the Bud Light fiasco. It is time we all boycott the mainstream news media and switch to alternative news sources. As the research report below indicates, these news sources are dependent on their own healthy “bottom lines”. Without sponsors, they would be forced to change.

It was recently reported that both Republican candidate for president Nikki Haley as well as “grassroots efforts” to take Trump off the ballots are actually funded by Democrat Dark Money of mega-donors and there is nothing “grassroots” about these initiatives at all. You can rest assured there is not enough dark money in the Democrat’s black money pit hole to shore up a floundering mainstream news media left unwatched by WE, THE PEOPLE.
