On Friday, November 27, 2020, the U.S. Third Circuit of Appeals in Pennsylvania rejected President Donald Trump’s campaign seeking to file a lawsuit against the state’s election results, a move that Trump’s lawyers said will allow them to expedite their lawsuits to the U.S. Supreme Court.

The Third Circuit Court of Appeals wrote that the Trump campaign’s challenge doesn’t have merit, saying that “voters, not lawyers, choose the President. Ballots, not briefs, decide elections. The ballots here are governed by Pennsylvania election law.”
