Bannon spoke for millions when he said, “The images last night of the …  riot police on horses, the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, beating people with batons, and particularly that iconic video where they ran over the disabled woman in her scooter. How did the Royal Canadian Mounted Police turn out to be a weapon of authoritarianism?”

Jay: “What’s going on right now is insane. I’ve been on the ground here every day since the 28th of January… and what I’m seeing is a extremely peaceful protest… The fact that the police respond like this is hard to wrap your head around.”
