Saturday, June 14th, 2025 marked an interesting day in American history. We had dueling events of the right and the left and, once again, it was proven it is better to be right and right than left and wrong!
We wrote about both sides of the events of this upcoming day last week here:
“Saturday June 14th Flag Day and Our First Military Parade!” – The Thinking Conservative
A U.S. Flag Day parade celebration was held as the U.S. Army’s 250th Anniversary Grand Military Parade on the National Mall organized by “America 250”.
“What are we to Defy on the Nationwide Day of Defiance?” – The Thinking Conservative
A series of nation-wide protests that was to be held in almost 2,000 cities and towns across the country titled “No Kings Nationwide Day of Defiance” organized by Indivisible.
Like so many American families who have either served in the U.S. Army themselves, or have had, or have now have, loved ones in the Army, we all were waiting to see if the bases we knew would be represented in the parade. Some were represented but many were not. That is because there are around 500 U.S. Army bases around the world!
For our family, we were looking for Fort Bragg, Fort Polk, and Fort Sheridan (no longer commissioned).
CONCLUSION:
While the left criticized the cost of the “Trump Parade” somewhere around $30-45 million dollars, the right immediately took to social media platforms to respond noting the “billions with a B” they had just doled out illegally to illegal aliens in government social programs to buy their votes as “newcomers” to immediately shut them up.
On top of that, Trump is a genius businessman. He set up a non-profit to offset the celebration’s costs related to America’s 25th Anniversary from the taxpayers. “America 250” gathered a large number of advertisers to offset the cost of the Army parade. While some did not want to be identified, those we are aware of were as follows from Google AI and other sources:
“Technology and Defense: Oracle, Lockheed Martin, Palantir, Coinbase, Amazon, General Dynamics, Bell Textron, RTX Corporation, Leidos, Boeing, and General Electric Aerospace are listed among the sponsors.
Other Major Companies: UFC, Coca-Cola, FedEx, Walmart, Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Ram, Exiger, and Scott’s Miracle Gro are also designated sponsors. Other sponsors include USAA, Gary Sinise Foundation, Wounded Warrior Project, GOVX, Leonardo DRS, Armed Forces Mutual, First Command, T-Mobile, King George, InterContinental Hotels Group, and the NFL.
Specific Mentions and Past Contributions: Coinbase was specifically acknowledged during the parade and had previously donated to Trump’s inaugural committee. Anheuser-Busch, which has ties to a Trump ally, also donated to Trump’s inauguration.
Meta was initially listed as a sponsor but later clarified it was not.”
While the parade was livestreamed on a number of familiar sources such as Forbes, Fox, and PBS, we decided to watch it on Right Side Broadcasting as that network has been with Donald Trump through thick and thin. We found the full length 3 hour presentation on YouTube here though:
“WATCH FULL: US Army birthday military parade” – Fox
Where things got really funny is clueless loser Hillary Clinton thought it would be a good idea to take to social media to troll President Trump for his idea of a military parade. The American public responded in kind and bitch slapped her down having none of it!
“Hillary Clinton’s Trump Parade Troll BACKFIRES! Social Media Reacts” – Trending News
Other supposed left wing “news” sources such as “The Young Turks” and “The Midas Touch” outright lied and said the parade was not well attended and a failure when quite the opposite was true. In fact, a number of other right wing podcasters reported many “No Kings” day events never materialized or were poorly attended. Many reported people went home after less than an hour seemingly looking defeated and dejected.
While these lefty sources are a joke to any thinking American, they do serve well to spawn the creativity from wise guys on the right that are oft times truly hilarious. Take this one fake parody post from “Donald Trump” in a meme.
As for me, I found President Trump’s parade really educational and historic. I have had a number of friends who loved tanks, Jeeps, and Hummers… I have others who love all forms of Army aircraft.
I think it is okay to love the instruments of war without loving war itself.
As President Trump would conclude, “Peace through strength.”
And the best part of all, most of the really “good stuff” in Army weaponry will never be known, much less shown in a military parade in “The Mall”!
The bottom line is the left hates this country which means they hate American heritage and history. The right appreciates those who have gone before us and sacrificed to make America the greatest country on earth.
It is just that simple.
