Say What, Scott Presler for GOP Chair?

On March 8 Mitt Romney’s niece Ronna McDaniel will step down from her post as chair of the Republican National Committee (RNC). McDaniel’s resignation is expected to take effect after Super Tuesday March 5. To some in the party, this is a good thing. To others they say it depends on who is going to replace her.

Scott Presler is one name being promoted for the position. But while Presler comes with an impressive political activist background, he brings his own baggage to the GOP table. Presler is an openly gay, pro-Trump influencer who works with the Christian right as well. While his personal life and professional life seem kind of oxymoronic, as a political strategist he has shown brilliance. One example is to fight the Democrats in 2024 using their own strategies such as developing his own version of GOP ballot harvesting. “I don’t want 2,000 mules. I want 2 million mules,” he has said.

Presler is also the founder of “Early Vote Action” a Political Action Committee with the stated purpose, “Early Vote Action PAC (EVA) was created to achieve a strict purpose — organize & mobilize Republicans to vote early, so that by the time Election Day rolls around, the Republican victory is already baked in.”

People follow Presler on social media platforms such as “X” as #ThePersistence as an obvious playoff to the Democrats “The Resistance”.

Presler became widely known in Florida for promoting voter registration drives in 2021 and 2022 helping that state to flip from a majority Democratic to a majority Republican for the first time in history. This flip has been attributed to Presler’s efforts.

But Presler doesn’t come without controversy.

In late 2020 he worked to expose election-fraud in Pennsylvania. Pennsylvania was one of those states who changed election procedures in violation of the law because they did not go through their state legislature. The Democrats did not want the narrative of a fair and honest election broken.

In February of 2022 a Florida local news station reported Republican operatives had switched voters’ political affiliation from Democrat to Republican without their consent.

Was a Little Havana 84-year-old lifelong Democrat duped into registering as a Republican?

The problem with this news story is it seemed like a one-off or just one incident of a woman who might have just been confused rather than a widespread practice. What is most interesting is that while Democrats of Florida claimed multiple Florida counties had seen this problem over multiple years as a supposed “concerted” effort across the state, they did not provide examples. The Florida State A.G. refused to look at it for this reason.

Many leading Republican strategists feel the party must engage in ballot harvesting where it is legally allowed in the country.  Others feel it is inherently fraudulent and should be outlawed across the entire nation.

The socialist Democrats of the left have tried to tie Presler to the mostly peaceful protest of January 6, 2021 with the “Stop the Steal” initiative labeling the event “an insurrection”.

They have also become upset when Presler helped organize parents against school boards operating behind their backs in working to indoctrinate their children with pornography and gender confusion. Some of those organizations working to stop these rogue schoolboards were; The Leadership Institute, Moms for Liberty, and Turning Point USA.

The idea of “parental rights” became a new concept that many felt was a given, but became a new matter of policy to interrupt the perversions of the left. The concept basically holds that third parties do not have the right to discuss or promote sexuality or gender issues without the prior written consent of the parents of the child in question.

CONCLUSION:

Ronna McDaniel was a problem because of her relationship to RINO Senator Mitt Romney who was a Never Trump. Scott Presler might prove to be just as controversial.

He worked briefly in his native state of Virginia with the Republican Party there (VRP) until that ended in scandal in April of 2016.  The VRP learned Presler had posted (on Craigslist) explicit photos of himself engaged in a sexual encounter inside an office that the state party shared with the Republican National Committee (RNC). Craigslist has since ceased allowing such personal mating posts on their website.

In 2017 Presler organized ACT nationwide rallies to “March Against Sharia”. The events were said to have used The Proud Boys, Oath Keepers, and The Three Percenters militias for security.

As a Christian, I believe in second chances for people like Presler but to be honest, I honestly envisioned Tulsi Gabbard as the next RNC Chair. My logic is she was a vice-chair of the DNC back in 2016 before she resigned and walked away from the party over the number that was done on Bernie Sanders by Hillary Clinton. She was also a former presidential candidate in 2020 as a Republican.

After all, some of the best Republicans have been Democrats previously (Reagan and Trump).
