According to Reuters, Russia has proposed terms for a withdrawal that could potentially end the war, and save the world from the risks of a massive humanitarian crisis. Cortes says it’s not a great deal, but it may be the only way out. Remember, the U.S. is already involved in the war with its massive sanctions and support for Ukraine. Our national interest has to be certain before we get even more deeply involved. U.S. policy can’t be based on emotion, but rather outcomes.
