The Left’s Socialist Strategy: The Illusion of Truth

“Repeat a lie often enough and it becomes the truth.” This was the mantra of Nazi Party’s Reich Minister of Propaganda Joseph Goebbels, and it’s the mantra of today’s socialists – the Democrat Party.

While speaking on behalf of Kamala Harris in Kalamazoo, Michigan on Saturday, Former First Lady, Michelle Obama, made some real head scratching comments. She said Harris is, “putting herself out there fearlessly, facing down even her harshest critics… And unlike her opponent, she’s not ducking interviews or cowering in safe spaces only with fawning audiences.” She can’t be serious! Her remarks came on the heels of Trump sitting down for three hours with Joe Rogan, who is known for drilling down pretty deep.

If I had to guess, I’d say about 70% of her audience knew she was lying, but they cheered and applauded anyway. Every journalist within the sound of her voice had to know, but the reporting didn’t reflect that.

Former President Donald Trump has had countless interviews and press conferences, taking question after unscripted question providing on the fly answers. How safe was the space for Trump at the National Association of Black Journalists conference in Chicago? The vitriol was over the top, but that didn’t stop him from going in there and facing hostile questioning.

The worst interview experience for Kamala was about 20 minutes with Bret Baier on Fox News who was certainly tough but fair. She refused to give him specific answers and ran out the clock with platitudes and other assorted nonsense.

In addition to the lie that Trump is somehow afraid to face an interview, a number of other flat out falsehoods are being repeated by Kamala, Tim Walz, Joe Biden, Barack Obama, and of course the left-wing media.

How many times have we heard about Project 2025? Trump says he has nothing to do with it and has neither read it nor endorsed it, but they keep saying it.

Kamala keeps repeating the phrase, “Trump abortion ban.” When did Trump ban abortion? When did he say he wants to ban abortion? During the Trump administration, the Supreme Court returned this issue to us, we the people of the several states to vote on it as we see fit. Kamala says the federal government should stay out of it. Well… now it’s out, why bring it back in?

The left says Trump will ban in vitro fertilization, another blatant lie. Trump is on record saying financial assistance should be made available for it.

I keep hearing the lie that Trump wants to tax imported goods. The truth is Trump wants to put tariffs, or more accurately – the threat of tariffs, on imported goods to leverage negotiations with those countries that want access to the American market to change their policies in favor of the United States. That’s how he got Mexico to put troops on their side of the border.

“Trump is a threat to democracy,” says the party that threw their primary winner, Joe Biden, under the bus in favor of Kamala. “Trump wants to do away with the Constitution,” says the party that censors Conservative viewpoints and believes the First Amendment is a problem for what they say is disinformation or discussing climate change. “Trump wants to prosecute his enemies,” says the party that is actively trying to incarcerate him. In the words of JD Vance, “Do you hear yourself?”

Lying about Trump is nothing new. For years we heard about Russian collusion, Russian prostitutes and the Steele dossier from the lying left, all the while ignoring stories like Hunter’s laptop, Hillary Clinton selling uranium to Russia or millions of dollars flowing into the Biden’s from China. You know, stuff that really happened. More recently, we have the January 6 insurrection, the “fine people” hoax and the “suckers and losers” lie. These have all been debunked, but they just keep saying them. The facts don’t seem to matter.

Every time the left calls Donald Trump a fascist, they indict themselves as a fascist. Repeating a lie to create the illusion of truth was the propaganda strategy of the Nazi playbook, as was censoring free speech, disarming the people, controlling the media, wealth redistribution and hating the Jewish people, in other words, the Democrat platform.
