One week before Christmas 2023, Monday December 18th, Pope Francis, the head of the Catholic Church, took it upon himself to make a major policy shift from of the church from the word of God, the Bible. Pope Francis announced priests can now bless same-sex couples, while the church remains against gay marriage.
Of the 32% of the world said to be Christian, 18% are said to be Catholic. In other words, more than half of the world’s Christians are Catholic while the rest are identified as Protestants. In the past though, even many Protestants respected and listened to the leadership of each individual Catholic Pope. That changed with the papal inauguration liturgical service of Pope Francis. Francis was a rumored socialist or communist and many believed a day like December 18, 2023 would come before the end of his papacy.
Basically, the position of the church now holds that same sex couples can be blessed by the church but not married by the church. The document of Francis outlines the blessing of couples in “irregular situations and same-sex couples without officially validating their status or changing in any way the Church’s perennial teaching on marriage.” Also, blessings cannot be given at the same time as a civil union and cannot resemble weddings in any way.
The document holds people who request blessings of the Catholic Church shouldn’t be subjected to “an exhaustive moral analysis” because “those seeking a blessing should not be required to have prior moral perfection.”
“Indeed, the grace of God works in the lives of those who do not claim to be righteous but who acknowledge themselves humbly as sinners, like everyone else,” the document of Pope Francis states.
Earlier in 2023, this Pope said transgender people could be baptized and strongly denounced laws that criminalize homosexuality.
The problems with what this Pope did are many.
First, Pope Francis cannot be recalled by the College of Cardinals who put him in place. His appointment is good for life.
Second, whenever mankind has opted his ways in certain periods of time were more appropriate or acceptable over those in the word of God, bad times historically followed. There are countless examples of this throughout history. See my first article I wrote for this news source:

Third, many believers in God of all faiths of the world believe sexuality was provided by God to people for the action of pleasure between a man and a woman with a reaction of childbirth to perpetuate the world population.
As a matter of fact, a study of 2023 by IPSOS found in some 26 countries surveyed, about 40% believe in God.
With that in mind, many are now speaking out against Pope Francis and doing so very well with the support of historical theology of the Catholic Church. Perhaps nobody does it better than Jonathan Cahn. Cahn is an American Messianic Jewish pastor, author, and novelist known for his debut novel “The Harbinger”. He is the founder and leader of the Beth Israel Worship Center in Wayne, New Jersey. (https://www.bethisraelworshipcenter.org/) Many people see Cahn as simply preaching and teaching the truth of God’s word.
“The Pope Francis End-Time Apostasy | Jonathan Cahn Prophetic”
Apostasy is a word in the Bible which occurs when a religious leader replaces his words with the words of God as in the Bible. One might also infer Pope Francis “reinterpreted the word of God with his own personal bias”.
For those who are not educated in religion and the word of God, Jewish people believe and follow the Old Testament of the Bible but they do not believe Jesus Christ was the Son of God so they do not believe in and follow the New Testament where Christ comes to be. It has been said that the Jewish people are waiting for the Messiah (Savior).
Jonathan Cahn grew up in Judaism, became an atheist, and after a near-death experience, came into a relationship with Jesus. Many people today believe Jonathan Cahn to be a modern day prophet.
It is truly ironic that it took a guy like this to call out Pope Francis for straying from the Bible!
