The Wordless Weaver

It’s just before Passover, and Shira, a young weaver known for her talents across Jerusalem, wants to do something special for the Lord Yeshua. She wishes she could join the crowd in singing and praising Yeshua as he rides into her city on a humble beast of burden. However, she is mute, unable to speak.

Instead, Shira offers the work of her hands and presents an incredible gift that is more marvelous than anyone could ever have imagined. And through her good deed, Shira receives a life-changing gift.

In this relatable, heartwarming story for children,ย The Wordless Weaverย presents the passion, death, and resurrection of Jesus through the eyes of a child. Filled with beautiful original artwork, this picture book shares the good news of Easter in a way that children will love.

About the Author

How many of us know at age ten what we want to be when we grow up? And how many of us actually achieve that goal? Claudia Cangilla McAdam is one of the lucky ones who did just that. She grew up in Colorado where her love for reading and writing was nourished by her family (She is the oldest of eight) and her teachers. After getting her degree in English, she embarked on a career in writing for magazines and newspapers across the country which lasted for more than thirty years and which has grown to include the authoring of eighteen books to date.

When she’s not writing, she spends a lot of time presenting her books in public appearances and conducting writing workshops in schools. Her greatest joy, however, is spending time with her loved ones in beautiful Colorado. She is grateful to God for the gifts of faith, family, and friends–and for the ability to share her books with readers around the world.
