Transcript
Troy Carte: I can’t understand for the life of me how, because you’re you living a certain ZIP code or you’re born in a certain zip code, you have to go to this the school in your neighborhood. I don’t know how, in good conscience, any politician can look at what’s happening right now with schools, and still support the teachers unions. You’re not allowed to fire teachers no matter how bad thry are.
Joe Lonsdal: There’s no accountability is the problem.
Troy Carte: Zero accountability.
Joe Lonsdal: I feel like we got to pay him more for the ones that are doing well and then replace the ones are not doing well.
Troy Carte: Yes, incentivize them. The Superstar teachers, incentivize those teachers. Pay, pay, it should be merit-based.
