Trump Sues Fake News, Musk Rumors and The View

5Mind. The Meme Platform

President Donald Trump held a press conference in the middle of December last year at Mar-a-Lago that lasted over an hour. (How refreshing from Joe Biden.) Most interesting was what he said around the 54 minute mark where he announced the litigation he is filing against the fake news media.

Trump did not address the lawsuit that was in progress against ABC News and the defamatory words spoken by anchor George Stephanopoulos at that time but did talk about others. The ABC suit would come to be settled out of court for $15 million several weeks later. The money is to be paid to a charity for a future Trump Presidential Library.

“Happening Now: President-elect Trump Holds Press Conference at Mar-a-Lago” – The Hill

“I’m going to be bringing one (lawsuit) against uh, the people in Iowa their newspaper, which had a very, very, good pollster (renowned pollster J. Ann Selzer) who got me right all the time. And then just before the election she said I was going to lose by 3 or 4 points and it became the biggest story all over the world because I was going to win Iowa by 20 points.”

“She brought it down two weeks before… She said I was going to only win by 4. That was a big story but that was good because she brought it down from like 22 points to 4 or whatever the number was way up, way up, easy one. Never even thought to go there… I respect them I love them and they understand there’s no reason to go there… because she brought it from way up… walk away… which it was… And it turned out to be in the election too, by the way. It was a, a, win by many, many, points and then she brought it down very smartly to 4 a couple of weeks before and everyone said wow that’s amazing. He’s only up by 4 points then she brought it down to where I was down by 3 or 4 whatever the number. She is, and uh that was, the De Moines Register and it was their, their, parent and in my opinion it was fraud, and it was election interference. You know she’s gotten me right always. She’s a very good polster. She knows what she was doing and she then quit before and we’ll probably be filing a major lawsuit against them today or tomorrow.”

Philanthropist George Soros’ Open Society Foundation is known to fund “independent journalists” who attack conservatives by way of Gannet Publishing which is the parent company of many local town newspapers such as the De Moines Register. It is not known exactly how Trump’s legal team is going to approach this event but many think he will use an Iowa “truth in advertising” law to effectively go after the local newspaper, its parent company, and the now retired pollster herself.

“We’re filing one on ‘60 Minutes’, you know about that, where they took Kamala’s answer, which was a crazy answer, a horrible answer, and they took the whole answer out and they replaced it with something else she said later on in the interview which wasn’t a great answer, but it wasn’t like the first one. The first was grossly incompetent it was weird and that was fraud and election interference by their news magazine a big part of CBS News.

So as you know we’re involved in that one, we’re involved in one uh, which has been going on for a while, and very successfully, against Bob Woodward where he uh, didn’t quote me properly from, from, the tapes. And then, on top of everything else, he sold the tapes which he wasn’t allowed to do. He could only use them for reporting purposes not for sale purposes and he admits that. And I think we’ll be successful on that one and uh, we have one very interestingly one on Pulitzer because uh, reporters at the New York Times, Washington Post, got Pulitzer Prizes for their wonderful accurate and highly professional reporting on the Russia-Russia-Russia hoax. Well, it turned out to be a hoax and they were exactly wrong. Uh, people like many people, John Solomon, Sean Hannity, is not for Pulitzer… But Sean Hannity got it right. Many people got it right. Tucker got it right, Jessie got it right, Laura got it right, (Judge) Jeanine got it right,… A lot of people got it right. They didn’t get anything… They gave it to reporters… they got it absolutely wrong and now everybody admits it was a hoax. And I want them to get back, take back, the Pulitzer Prizes and pay big damages. And I think we’re doing very well on that one. They there, they have no excuse for it. They gave a Pulitzer Prize to writers that got Russia-Russia- Russia wrong and so I think we’re doing well… And I feel I have to do this. I shouldn’t really be the one to do it. It should have been the Justice Department or somebody else but, uh, I have to do it. It cost a lot of money to do it but uh, we have to straighten out the press. Our press is very corrupt, almost as corrupt, corrupt as our elections.”

CONCLUSION:

If the above didn’t put a smile on your face reading Trump’s words, the antics going on between Elon Musk relative to ABC’s “The View” will.

Somebody started a rumor Musk is suing Whoopi Goldberg for $80 million because of her statement that Elon Musk and J.D. Vance were going to be the real president and vice president of the United States.

There was also a joke about Musk buying ABC’s “The View” just to end it.

Likewise, somebody else started a rumor Candace Owens and Megyn Kelly were going to start a show on CBS to counter ABC’s “The View” in the same timeslot. Yeah, that one is not true either. But CBS, Fox, or NBC would be smart to do it! You could also add Lara Logan and Sharyl Attkisson around that table.

“Sunny Hostin Lashes Out at Elon Musk for Tanking The View’s Ratings” – The British Brothers

Actually, “The View” finished 2024 very well. In the last year viewership increased +7% – 2.573 million vs. 2.415 million. Season to date, “The View” is ranking No. 1 in Households (1.76 rtg).

If President Trump is reading this, I can hear his famous one word conclusion, “Sad.”

It is pretty obvious with all of this negative conversation about “The View” conservatives are smelling blood in the water. Now would be a good time for a show to counter “The View”.

Trump’s litigation will most certainly end with more money in his pockets.
