There is new information that isn’t being reported by the mainstream media or broadcast on the evening news magazine shows. This is why independent journalism is important, we sift through all kinds of online information and watch podcasts etc. to discover information that may have been hidden from the public, information that gives people that “Oh my God!” moment.
A recent news report by former Fox News channel now independent podcaster Tucker Carlson gives one such moment. His leader on his video says, “The FBI told us Thomas Crooks tried to kill Donald Trump last summer but somehow had no online footprint. The FBI lied, and we can prove it because we have his posts. The question is why?”
This story involves Trump’s would be assassin in Butler, Pennsylvania, Thomas Crook and the incredible lack of information known about him 16 months after the attempt. The FBI has been engaged in a combination of stonewalling and/or outright lying to the media and the general public as attempts are made to get further information on Crooks. Tucker Carlson has determined a possible reason why.
A tipster to Carlson using high end sleuthing techniques and software has managed to divulge information from Thomas Crooks past footprint on the Internet before the assassination attempt and it offers a disturbing scenario.
There is evidence Thomas Crooks was a big time fan of President Trump before something made him flip and turn 180 degrees against Trump. One example from a past post he made on YouTube from July 20, 2019 offered this:
“I hope a quick painful death to all of the deplorable immigrants and anti-trump congresswoman who don’t deserve anything this country has given them.”
This post was an obvious reference to the 4 immigrant Democrat women of Congress who have adopted the nickname of “The Squad”.
- Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez: Represents New York’s 14th congressional district. She is American born of Puerto Rican descent.
- Ilhan Omar: Represents Minnesota’s 5th congressional district. She is a Somalian immigrant.
- Ayanna Pressley: Represents Massachusetts’ 7th congressional district. She is American born.
- Rashida Tlaib: Represents Michigan’s 13th congressional district. She is American born of Palestinian descent.
At some point an unknown individual by the name of Willy Tepes seems to enter Thomas Crooks life and Crook begins to change, swinging from right to left politically. Crooks transformation seemed to begin in 2020 according to Internet search history uncovered by the Tucker Carlson Network.
Crooks went from being pro-Trump and pro-MAGA to researching how to make bombs, perform mass killings with vehicles, and how to assassinate. His sudden interest in firearms and target practice was new and unusual, just as his rhetoric on the Internet was.
Carlson continues to report that about this same time the FBI was hiring independent contractors to monitor people online. Those companies contracted were Dataminr and Venntel according to a report by Lee Fang in “The Intercept”.

CNN did a report titled “Takeaways on the Senate Hearing About the Trump Assassination Attempt and Secret Service Failure” that revealed the FBI was withholding information on the assassination.
Former FBI Director Christopher Wray actually questioned whether an assassin’s bullet actually grazed President Trump’s ear without knowing the situation.
Carlson notes all of the irregularities in the handling of Thomas Crooks evidence after the assassination involving the FBI:
1. Rapid cremation of the body of Thomas Crooks soon after the event to prohibit a forensic autopsy.
2. Hosing off the roof of the building where Thomas Crooks’ blood and bodily tissues were.
3. The uniform of the FBI agent seen hosing off the roof of the factory where Crooks was taken down by a police sniper reads, “FBI Technical Hazardous Response Unit”.
4. The FBI had Crooks’ cellphone unlocked in less than an hour using an Israeli tech firm named Cellebrite.
5. FBI officials under Joe Biden found Crooks phone had encrypted messages between contacts in Belgium, New Zealand, and Germany yet none of this was referenced in the final Congressional Report of the assassination in December of 2024.
According to current FBI Director Kash Patel the reason why the FBI is being tightlipped is because two cases are ongoing in the court system.
Carlson points out that Crooks is dead so there is no case under the first assassination attempt so there is no good reason to conceal facts and information on the first assassination attempt.
Wisconsin Senator Ron Johnson (R) has subpoenaed the FBI related to information about Thomas Crooks for his Congressional investigation and they have remained unresponsive.
CONCLUSION:
This news story is problematic for many reasons.
First, the U.S. intelligence community of the United States of America works for WE, THE PEOPLE, and are funded by our taxpayer dollars. This means they are beholding to us to be transparent open and honest.
Second, the personality change in Thomas Crooks reminds some of us, old enough to remember, about mind control prusued by the CIA in the MK-Ultra Project.

Third is the appearance that the U.S. intelligence community has gone rouge and is without accountability and is now referred to as “The Fourth Branch of Government” or “The Deep State”. The implication is the Executive Branch and Legislative Branch no longer run the country and the Intelligence Community does not answer to them… even when subpoenaed to do so!

It is a well-known fact that President Trump has been made aware of Arthur Schlesinger’s full 15-page memo calling for JFK to break up the CIA in 1961. Kennedy was assassinated 2 years later.
Even after the official Warren Report that was the Congressional investigation of that assassination was released, the Warren Commission’s John McCloy had “serious doubts” about the JFK investigation. He didn’t rule out multiple shooters and questioned the Oswald lone gunman theory, even as the FBI told the press Oswald acted alone.
In the end, Thomas Crooks is dead, there is no trial needed for him unless others were involved. Cell phone tracking data produced shortly after the assassination imply that others may have been involved within Washington, D.C. and around the world!
