We Must Make America Great Again

If U.S. President Joe Biden has taught America anything, it is that he and his administration are not fit to serve as leaders of the country. Everything about the Biden White House is disingenuous and watching White House Spokeswoman Karine Jean-Pierre run a press conference is nothing short of astounding in terms of the lies, deflection, and misinformation.

For example, while the Biden administration entered the White House in 2020 claiming it would bring honesty and openness, it has done nothing but lie to the American people and mislead them on important issues such as the border, Hunter Biden, the economy, national security, Iran, and so many other topics.

Bidenโ€™s dismal record on nearly everything, from the economy and unemployment, to foreign affairs and global policies, has disappointed many Americans, including even Democrats.

Pew reports that Dem unhappiness has climbed steadily, from 56% in 2021 to 62% last year and 73% now.

A January Pew poll found that a whopping 73% of Democrats rated the administrationโ€™s handling of the invasion of migrants from Mexico as โ€œsomewhat badโ€ or โ€œvery bad.โ€

In contrast, former US President Donald Trump can point to a long list of accomplishments by the time he had served four years, and many Americans have not forgotten how much better shape the country was in when he was president.

From the military buildup to supply-side tax cuts and deregulation, to judicial nominees, to immigration policies and education reform, Trump made a lasting difference on many issues.

For starters, Trump reshaped the Federal Judiciary, influencing it for years to come with his installation of many conservative federal judges.

He signed a $738 billion defense spending bill officially establishing the sixth branch of the US Armed Forces โ€” the Space Force, tasked with protecting the US military’s assets in space.

His administration managed to weaken ISIS’s caliphate and took out Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi.

He took a far more realist approach to Iran.

When it came to Israel, Trump showed he understood the conflict far better than Democrats. He moved the Embassy to Jerusalem, recognized Israeli sovereignty in the Golan Heights, reversed the nonsensical 1978 Carter-Era Hansell Memorandum, and recognized Israeli rights to Judea and Samaria.

Trump introduced the United States Mexico Canada Agreement (USMCA), an updated version of the nearly 25-year-old, trillion-dollar North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA).

Trump launched the Keystone Pipeline, an important issue for many Americans. The administration also rolled back environmental regulations on emissions from power plants and vehicles and opened up federal lands to drilling and mining.

He defunded the WHO, negotiated a new trade deal with China, and demanded NATO nations pay more.

Trump governed as a resolute conservative. His policies in the areas of education, taxes, deregulation, and the environment have been bolder than Ronald Reagan’s.

Trumpโ€™s tax cuts, along with the massive deregulation he orchestrated, led to 3.5 percent unemployment until Chinaโ€™s Covid-19 virus killed millions around the world.

Trump withdrew the United States from the Paris Climate Agreement, which he considered unfavorable and flawed, focusing instead on achieving American energy independence. Recognized for his unprecedented availability to the media, Trump also challenged the complete impartiality of what he termed โ€œfake news.โ€ He facilitated the release of 19 individuals, including 16 Americans, from foreign detention, surpassing the number of captives freed during President Barack Obama’s eight-year tenure. Notably, Trump accomplished this without Obamaโ€™s controversial methods, such as the release of terrorist leaders or the transfer of substantial funds to Iran.

Trump’s tenure was marked by significant bipartisan achievements, notably in the area of criminal justice reform.

Following the Singapore summit with North Korea, he maintained a firm stance, making no concessions to Pyongyang, and upheld a similar approach in dealings with Moscow.

Winning important primaries across the country, Trump has cemented himself as the leading Republican candidate for the 2024 nomination.

If he returns to the White House, Trump promises he will institute real change.

Trump’s plans include removing tens of thousands of federal employees from their civil service protections to dismantle what he calls the “deep state,” targeting those he perceives as adversaries within the justice and national security sectors. He proposes reissuing a 2020 executive order to facilitate these dismissals and enforce a new civil service test.

On immigration, Trump aims to halt illegal border crossings from Mexico, conduct extensive deportation operations, and impose stricter visa regulations, targeting individuals with jihadist sympathies or anti-American sentiments. He intends to deploy troops and federal agents to enhance border security and proposes reinstating his travel ban on certain Muslim-majority countries, alongside introducing ideological screening for immigrants to exclude extremists.

In trade policy, Trump plans to implement tariffs on foreign goods and advocate for legislation enabling reciprocal tariffs. He seeks to reduce reliance on Chinese imports and restrict Chinese investments in critical U.S. infrastructure.

Regarding foreign policy, Trump says he will resolve the Russia-Ukraine conflict before taking office, stand with Israel against Hamas, reassess NATO’s role, and withdraw from the Paris Climate Accords again.

He proposes strict measures against transgender rights, aiming to restrict gender-affirming care and define gender strictly by biological sex at birth.

In energy policy, Trump favors increasing fossil fuel production, rolling back electric vehicle initiatives, and revoking environmental regulations introduced by the Biden administration.

For education, Trump wants to dismantle the Department of Education, influence local school curricula towards “patriotic education,” and support schools allowing concealed weapons for teachers.

To address homelessness, he suggests building tent cities and reinstating large mental institutions for the severely mentally ill.

Trump advocates for aggressive policing tactics, including the use of stop-and-frisk and allowing police to shoot suspected shoplifters, alongside calling for the death penalty for drug smugglers and human traffickers.

Biden and his minions have destroyed much of what America stands for and the Founding Fathers are no doubt furious. Letโ€™s hope Trump returns to the White House so that we can make America great gain.
