Who’s Your Mamdani?

5Mind. The Meme Platform

According to NATO Secretary-General, Mark Rutte, Donald Trump is “Daddy”. This friendly moniker is meant to express that Donald Trump is in charge, both here in the US and elsewhere in the world. In NYC, Trump may be your Daddy, but who’s your Mamdani?

In NYC’s Democrat mayoral primary, Zohran Mamdani took the lead with a plurality of votes, securing 43% of the ballots cast. Mario Cuomo, of undying affection for women and of the opposite disposition for the elderly, came in second.

Mamdani, a former state assemblyman and failed rapper, has repackaged himself to the liking of NYC’s electorate as a “democrat socialist.” In laymen’s terms he’s a Socialist. Way to go Democrats!

You may not be aware that NYC uses ranked choice voting which means that when filling out ballots you “rank” the candidates you prefer in order from 1 up to 5. In this case, there were four candidates.

As you may not know, the primary isn’t officially over. The losing candidates’ ballots must be redistributed to voters’ second-choice candidates until one of them breaks the 50% threshold, a process that is set to begin on July 1. Confusing, internet user agreements are easier to understand.

Ranked choice voting is preferred by fringe candidates and parties because it offers them their only chance at winning. Since these candidates, such as Mamdani, could never secure 50% of the vote on their own, they require a convoluted process that adds votes over multiple rounds to reach the winning threshold.

The idea of “one man, one vote” is ousted in favor of “one person, however many votes it takes to declare a victor.”

Some victor. His winning is like being declared the world’s tallest midget (no offense to little people). For a city that teeters on the brink of insolvency and chaos, electing Mamdani as mayor would be akin to allowing Satan to stoke your fire.

Mamdani has proposed the following: free public transit, rent control, publicly owned and operated grocery stores, and free healthcare. As with all Democrats, he assures NYC residents there’s no reason to worry, he can pay for all this by sticking it to the “wealthy”. The only thing missing from his platform is promising a unicorn on every stoop.

The ignorance of his economic and tax policies is exceeded only by his hateful and dangerous sympathies with terrorists and antisemites.

He has defended the slogan “globalize intifada,” describing it as “a desperate desire for equality and equal rights in standing up for Palestinian human rights.” It isn’t clear he knows what the phrase represents.

If Mamdani doesn’t know what it means, using it makes him a fool. If he does know its meaning, he’s a demon.

Intifada is an Arabic word for a rebellion or uprising, or a resistance movement. In the Israeli-Palestinian conflict context, it refers to uprising or rebellion by Palestinian people against Israeli occupation or Israel. That uprising is predicated on denying Israel’s right to exist and the Jewish right to live.

Globalizing hate is what Mamdani supports.

Since he won’t disavow his support for the intifada, he has proposed increasing funding for the enforcement of “hate crimes”. He mouths these words out of political necessity, but without sincerity. His idea of a hate crime is voting for Curtis Sliwa.

NYC electing Mamdani is like putting an arsonist in charge of the Fire Department. A Mamdani mayoral administration will be second only to Nero’s in terms of the conflagration.

A Mamdani campaign might be the flashpoint that finally splits the Democrat party in two. The eccentric beliefs of a likable kook such as Bernie Sanders I-VT were rejected during two runs at the Democrat presidential nomination. Allowing Mamdani to call himself a “Democrat” further injures a brand that already has the same standing as lawyers with the American people.

The Progressive-Socialist wing of that party can’t be co-opted anymore. They took power during the Biden administration and the results were cataclysmic to Democrats and the country. Their hunger can’t be sated by allowing them to sit at the table, instead it can only be satisfied by devouring what’s left of the party beget by Martin Van Buren.

Mamdani is just the latest face of a party run amok. Democrats will have to choose to defeat his brand of mindless, if not telegenic, Socialism or try and live in a tiny cage with hungry young lions.

Who’s your Mamdani?

A child of privilege whose Marxist leaning policies reflect not experience, but whose views are entirely conceptual. A person who’s achieved nothing and has created nothing more than an image.

An empty vessel whose idea of governance will destroy what’s left of one of America’s formerly great cities.
