You can’t really talk about Illinois without referencing its largest city, Chicago.
And in talking about Chicago its current mayor, Brandon Johnson, was recently dubbed “America’s worst mayor” by the Wall Street Journal after just a year in office. Many are saying he is not just a progressive but a Marxist as well. People are now drawing comparisons to Zohan Mamdani, the Democrat’s candidate for mayor in New York, because of their shared progressive stances, which have been playing out disastrously in the “Windy City” of Chicago.
Windy City is not the only nickname of Chicago. I also learned in American History it was “The Rail Hub of America”, the “Industrial Capitol of America”, and “The City of Broad Shoulders” according to the poem “Chicago” by Carl Sandburg. Products out of Chicago 100 years ago were once as common as products out of China today.
Aside from Sandburg’s poem, that broad shoulders term came about because of Chicago became a “Melting Pot” for all kinds of people from all kinds of countries from around the world. There was a time when people of Chicago lived together in harmony with mutual respect rather than trying to power up on one another.
Yesterday a joint press conference was held with Illinois’ Democrat governor J.B. Pritzker and Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson. Their intent was to tell Republican President Donald Trump he dare not send Federal military troops into Chicago (“Don’t come to Chicago!”) to reduce its crime numbers and help clean tup he trash in city.
In the past we have written about Illinois and Chicago being designated a “sanctuary” state and city by the Democrats despite the fact most of Illinois is red geographically and may also be red by population, if Pritzker allowed Illinois’ voter rolls to be cleaned up as is required by Federal law from time-to-time. Instead, he is suing Trump to stop that from happening.
We have written how blacks of Chicago were gravely concerned about Pritzker and Johnson importing illegal alien gang members from South and Central America setting the stage for a turf war with the traditional gangs already here. We have discussed how the people of Illinois are now openly debating whether Democrats like Pritzker and Johnson are socialists, communists, or globalists because they sure do not speak and act like Americans!

What was most hilarious yesterday though was when Pritzker and Johnson took to their presser to warn the President of the United States he was not welcome and could not take Federal military action in Illinois and the City of Chicago. The front of their podium was adorned with a traditional Democrat blue sign that read, “CHICAGO – THE CITY OF BIG SHOULDERS”.
So while the Illinois Democrats were very careful to make sure they had an equal mix of both black and white people standing behind Pritzker and Johnson, they couldn’t even get the known catch phrase of Chicago right of poet Carl Sandburg!
Were they showing how ignorant and unread they are? Maybe not… Perhaps they used “BIG” rather than “BROAD” as a calculated move. After all, one of the lines in Sandburg’s broad shoulders 1914 “Chicago” poem reads, “And they tell me you are crooked and I answer: Yes, it is true I have seen the gunman kill and go free to kill again.”

President Trump is not the bad guy for wanting to clean up the major Democrat held blue cities of America. All the proof you need is the fact that Democrats over the last 4 years of the Joe Biden administration were failing to report crime data as per usual. As a matter of fact, some in the Trump administration have actually accused them of “fudging the numbers” to reduce crime stats.

Bottom line, Trump is right, per usual, and the military would be welcomed by most Chicagoans in Chicago to change the dynamics of the current crime and filth situation. Chicago is, in fact, a killing field for black people.
CONCLUSION:
The way you know there is an actual conspiracy afoot is when things change suddenly.
For example, Chicago broadcast news media used to report the shootings and deaths that occurred over the weekend when the weekend was over. Somebody in the Joe Biden administration must have told them to knock that off. It was reminiscent of what the mainstream media used to do during the Vietnam War to get people to oppose that war in the 1960s and 1970s. Every night we would get a body count report of dead Americans, Vietnamese, as well as soldiers of other countries.
Here is an example of the kind of reporting America is missing after this past July 4th of this year thanks to Fox who still is on the job:

I would conclude this by offering two truisms most Americans should ponder with me today.
1. I have never understood why any black Americans would vote for blue Democrats when our beloved President Abraham Lincoln of Illinois (a white Republican) actually gave his life to free them from slavery as a man of God who wanted to right a wrong.
2. I have never understood how some Chicago gangs require prospective members to shoot innocent bystanders in drive by shootings as a rite of passage for entrance into their gangs. It seems like a chicken sh!t act of cowardice! Maybe make new recruits pick up a dumpster full of trash instead, that would be a great public relations ploy.
Bottom line, if you are a person of color in Chicago, you are 20 times more likely to die by homicide with some 80% of those crimes being victims of color. And for the record, in 2024 only 23% of all homicides in Chicago were solved.
President Donald Trump is America’s “WIN-WIN” politician (who doesn’t like to be called a politician, btw).
Illinois’ J.B. Pritzker and Brandon Johnson represent America’s Midwest “LOSE-LOSE” politicians!
They are obviously “America Last” politicians. My only curiosity remaining, “Are they really Marxists out to destroy America?!”
An interesting end note: I have personally been told my Illinois law enforcement personnel that most murders by guns in Illinois involve shootings with stolen guns by shooters with no Illinois FOID cards (Firearm Owner’s Identification), but that information is not readily available on the Internet for some odd reason. As an Illinois boy of 71 years both older and wiser than Pritzker and Johnson, I love Illinois and its people of all colors. I hate Pritzker and Johnson for one simple reason; they are not working to benefit the people of Illinois. They are working an agenda and it is obvious!
