A woman has been caught on camera hurling abuse at a police officer in California during a traffic stop – calling him a “murderer” and a “racist” – before reportedly filing a complaint against the cop who recorded the encounter.
The footage, dated April 23 in San Dimas, shows the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department officer approaching the car after pulling the woman over.
“The speed limit is 40, and I was going 38, so why are you harassing me?” the woman said.
“I pulled you over because,” the officer responded before he was interrupted by the woman who said “because you’re a murderer”.
Fox News reported the officer, who has worked as a cop for 14 years, invested in a personal body camera to protect himself.
Multiple news outlets reported the woman filed a complaint against the officer after the encounter.
