Landmark Lawsuit Filed Against Arizona Officials Over 2022 Election

Yesterday, February 7, of 2024 the America First Legal Foundation filed a landmark lawsuit against Maricopa County, Arizona Officials for knowingly violating State Election Laws. The suit was filed in the Superior County of Arizona. The suit indicates plaintiffs as an organization of Strong Communities Foundation of Arizona verses defendants as officials ofย Maricopa County; Bill Gates, Steve Gallardo, Thomas Galvin, Clint Hickman, and Jack Sellers, as members of the Maricopa County Board of Supervisors, as well as Stephen Richer as Maricopa County Recorder. The suit is related to the overall integrity of election in the State of Arizona where Maricopa County which holds the City of Phoenix is the most populated county of that state.

The entire suit as filed can be read here:

American First Legal Foundation (AFLF) is an IRS-Approved Section 501(C)(3) Public Charity.ย America First Legal Foundation is a nonprofit organization formed by former senior Trump White House advisor Stephen Miller and counselor to the Attorney General Gene Hamilton in February of 2021.

The mission of the AFLF is to assure the needs and interests of the country come first as established by our Founding Fathers. Identify when these principles are breached as related to our security, our liberty, our sovereignty, as well as our fundamental rights and values. And have America First Legalโ„  save our country from this coordinated campaign to undermine the nation.

Information provided by the AFLF in a press release offered the following points of the litigation. The suit alleges:

  • Maricopa County refuses to maintain the mandatory chain of custody for ballots. In 2022, these failures resulted in a discrepancy of over 25,000 votes โ€“ larger than the margin of victory in the state governorโ€™s race. (Between Kari Lake and Katie Hobbs)
  • Maricopa County ignores mandatory reconciliation procedures to track each ballot printed or issued to a voter. The law requires tracking and reconciling ballots cast and voters checked in to stop fraud, but the Defendants do not perform any reconciliation procedures at all.
  • Maricopa Countyโ€™s election day โ€œvoting centersโ€ โ€“ an irrational substitute for election day precinct voting โ€“ are situated in a racially discriminatory way, having a disparate impact on the Countyโ€™s White and Native American citizens who are more likely to vote in person. Furthermore, these centers are poorly run; during the 2022 general election, a majority had issues with their ballot-on-demand printers. Malfunctions included printing 19-inch ballot images on 20-inch paper and/or using an ink-saving โ€œecoโ€ function that rendered ballots unreadable, disenfranchising lawful voters.
  • Arizona law requires that โ€œthe county recorder or other officer in charge of elections shall compare the signatures [on early ballots] with the signature of the elector on the electorโ€™s registration record.โ€ In other words, human beingsโ€”and only human beingsโ€”may perform signature verification. However, in 2020 Maricopa County used what it called โ€œthe AI signature processโ€ and the โ€œAI processโ€ to run signature comparisons. The County renewed the โ€œAIโ€ contract for 2024.
  • Starting in 2020, the Defendants have been wrongly canceling the voter registrations of hundreds, and possibly thousands, of Maricopa County residents. This has been happening without votersโ€™ knowledge, thus making it impossible for canceled voters to protest. Thus, during the 2022 election, hundreds, and possibly thousands, of voters appeared at voting centers and were told that they were no longer registered to vote in Maricopa County, even though they had not moved away, had not knowingly requested that their registration be canceled or transferred, had not consented to the cancellation of their registration, and had never been informed of the cancellation of their registration. These voters were forced to cast provisional ballots, which the Defendants never counted. The number of voters disenfranchised during the 2022 general election by the Defendantsโ€™ unlawful cancellations was larger than the margin of victory in some races.
  • Maricopa County violates state laws mandating ballot curing procedures that require that a voter actually see a suspect signature and confirm its authenticity in person.
  • Arizona law requires ballot drop boxes to be staffed by at least two election officials positioned close enough to view each person who deposits ballots into it. Maintaining an unstaffed drop box is a felony. However, Maricopa County maintains unstaffed, unsupervised ballot drop boxes, facilitating illegal ballot harvesting.

CONCLUSION:

Republican leaders such as former President Donald Trump and candidate for Arizona Governor Kari Lake have made public statements that the majority of Americans no longer want the Democrats in office due to their socialist agenda. Kari Lake warned the world before the 2022 Midterm Election in Arizona that she had a staff of legal experts and volunteers that would be watching the polling practices of the state to make sure the same shenanigans of the 2020 General Election were not repeated in the 2022 Midterm Election. She was not lying.

Now, apparently, all of that hard work by so many paid personnel and volunteers is coming to fruition as indicated in the points of litigation noted above.

I think the Democrat Party in this country is in some serious trouble as people are leaving the party en masse. They are leaving the party because of a โ€œOne-Two Gut Punchโ€. The first punch was the inflation that came with Joe Biden in our highest office and the realization he and the Democrats are operating from a preset agenda that does not include looking out for the best interests of โ€œWE, THE PEOPLEโ€. The second punch came when people like Kari Lake and Donald Trump revealed the criminal acts and culpability of same and a compromised justice system that fails to prosecute them accordingly.

So now the DNC has paid fake propagandist provocateurs on social media platforms such as โ€œXโ€œ working to project a party faรงade that has them looking bigger (and more popular) than reality. The DNC is in trouble and they know it!
