The four main problems Kamala Harris faces

5Mind. The Meme Platform

Last week’s Democratic National Convention demonstrated that Democrats could generate vast amounts of energy and support. The electric atmosphere, the star-studded event, the music and speeches all came together to create a lovefest for Vice President and Democratic nominee Kamala Harris and her running mate Minnesota Governor Tim Walz.

But the event was vacuous, devoid of any true substance. There was plenty of vibe, but zero essence. The calls for freedom and unity and a brighter future were eaten up by Democrat voters eager to see the spread of progressive values. Harris had given no substantive interviews and has not laid out her policies. The media has obediently gone along with this charade. Rather than vetting her, the media is doing everything to promote her candidacy.

Harris can look back at a successful event, but she has four main issues that she must face and which she did not address at the DNC.

First, the race is not over. While the energy at the DNC and Harris’s seeming popularity will have anyone believe the Democrats have got this election in the pocket, the reality is that a wide swath of America does not support her and prefer former President Donald Trump. Many Americans understand that Harris has been vice president for over three years in an unpopular administration and has accomplished nothing.

Second, RFK Jr. has decided to end his campaign and has now endorsed Trump. What this means for Harris is that while polls show Kennedy’s supporters only slightly favor the former president, they nonetheless favor him over her.

What this also means is that Kennedy backing Trump could make all the difference in one or more battleground states where just a few votes will tip the scale in Trump’s favor.

Third, Harris’s economic plan, or as many people call it, Kamalanomics, is a failure. Her campaign website has no significant economic policy positions, and she has been vague on the topic for weeks now. Her only comments, on price gouging, resulted in a massive backlash, including from Democrats.

But we already know Harris’s extreme left-wing progressive values and they don’t align with most of America. As vice president she was in the room, as they say, when Biden caused massive inflation. Harris’s policies would only make inflation worse. In addition, she wants tax hikes and regulations and supports the Green New Deal.

Fourth, the immigration policy is a failure. Was Harris the border czar or not? It doesn’t matter. Either way she never cared about the border other than to keep it open. The Biden administration has lost track of over 300,000 migrant children in the United States. These children are now vulnerable to criminals and sex traffickers.

Harris has long been an open borders advocate, promising free education and healthcare to illegal migrants crossing the border. GovTrack consistently listed Harris as the most liberal politician.

Harris is fake. She repeats the same lines over and over in appearances and at campaign events. She’s all about big spending, wokeness, and policy flip-flopping whether on healthcare, a mandatory gun buyback program, or fracking. She repeats her “unburdened by what has been” line over and over and mentioned something about falling out of a coconut tree.

The reason voters are choosing Trump is because they want to see what can be, unburdened by what has been i.e. the Biden administration – including Harris.

As Harris’s extreme left policies become known, it won’t be long before the tremendous joy marketed by the Democrats last week turns sour.

And voters will begin to realize that, if anything, it’s Kamala Harris who fell out of a coconut tree.
