2024: The Trump Comeback

5Mind. The Meme Platform

Donald Trump just pulled off arguably the greatest political comeback in American history. Most of the pundits, historians, and talk show hosts predicted that Harris was going to win the presidency.

Trump convincingly defeated the vice president. He won the popular vote and all seven swing states. This victory happened because Trump garnered a large percentage of minorities vote. He won the largest percentage of black voters for a Republican since Gerald Ford in 1976 and he also won about 40% Jewish voters in New York City. Trump’s star rises as California shifts to political center. ‘Even progressives have limits’

Trump saw record-high support, for a Republican, from Muslims, African Americans, Women, Latino Americans, and Generation Z. Trump won Dearborn, Michigan, a heavily Arab city. Trump also won Starr County, Texas, which is 97% Latino. Starr County had not voted for a Republican for president for more than a century. This voting bloc that transcends race, class, and gender handed Trump his victory, top pollster says Additionally, he won heavily African American districts such as Anson County, N.C., and Bucks County, PA. Moreover, he earned 53% of the white female vote and saw a higher percentage of male Generation Z supporters than Harris. Granderson: There’s no mystery. White women handed Trump the election

Most of these voters saw past the lies of the Democrats and knew that Trump was better for the economy, better for immigration, better for reproductive rights, and better for women’s sports.

In the four short years Biden has been in office, the country and the world have become a more dangerous place. In 2022 Russia invaded Ukraine resulting to a bloody war in that area. Hamas and Israel have been fighting with each other for more than a year. Thousands of Palestinians and Israelis have died in recent years. The Biden administration has not done anything to help ensure that these wars would end anytime soon.

Leading up the election Trump campaigned in several parts of the country that in which Republican presidential candidates do not usually campaign in. He campaigned in New York City and California. Thousands of his supporters came out to support him in these liberal areas. Trump held numerous rallies all over the country. On top of winning the presidential election, the Republicans managed to flip four seats in the Senate and gain seats in the House.

Trump has already promised to significantly change both the U.S. domestic and foreign policies. He said that he wants the Russian-Ukrainian conflict to end on day one and he wants to reinstate tariffs on China. Moreover, Trump plans to work with Prime Minister Netanyahu to bring peace in the Middle East and end the Isreal-Hamas war.  Domestically he wants to stop taxing tips, taxes on overtime, and he wants to end the federal income tax. Trump floats ending the federal income tax. Here’s what that would mean | CNN Politics Trump’s Planned Tax Cut On Tipping Explained If he is able to accomplish these things, then people would have more money in their pockets. Having already named several people in his upcoming administration Trump looks to be ready to lead the country on day one.

Overall Trump ran a very good campaign. He utilized social media and podcasts more than any candidate in history. His son Barron influenced his decisions on which shows he should do interviews on. His roughly three hour-long interview with Joe Rogan, his interview with Theo Von, and his interview on Flagrant, and his appearance on the Dave Ramsey show helped him reach a diverse group of Americans. He also showed that, unlike Harris, he would answer questions during interviews.

He also held multiple campaign events in swing states, blue states, and red states. After getting shot at the Butler, Pennsylvania rally he courageously pumped his fist in the air and shouted fight, fight, fight “Fight! Fight! Fight!” This act of bravery inspired many voters to support him. Even Mark Zuckerberg said that Trump looked like a badass.

Trump also had more memorable campaign events in 2024 than during his previous elections. In October, Trump worked at McDonald’s and as a garbage man. He did these things to mock both Kamala Harris and Joe Biden. However, these stunts resonated with many voters including those who had done these types of jobs in their lifetimes. By doing these types of stunts, Trump was relatable, charismatic, and funny.

Trump’s 2024 presidential victory should be an example to all Americans of how to deal with setbacks. Trump did not let his 2020 defeat to Joe Biden define him. After having been falsely accused of starting an insurrection to overthrow the previous election, being criminally convicted, and having been almost assassinated, he defeated the Democratic Party and the leftist media to win reelection. After having previously defeated the Bush and Clinton dynasties in 2016 he has now defeated the Obama/Biden dynasty.
