Democrats Prosecute the Messenger Rather than Her Message

5Mind. The Meme Platform

This Tuesday April 2nd Wisconsin holds its presidential primary and spring election day. This is where voters in the state select their preference for president and weigh in on two referendum questions. One of those referenda will ask Wisconsinites whether private donations for conducting elections should be allowed in the state (Zuckerbucks). Another will ask if the state should require only election officials to administer elections, instead of the current widespread practice of using volunteers (partisan activists) at Wisconsin polls.

So with all of this news about Wisconsin election fraud in 2020 one would think Wisconsin would have pretty legit elections four years later, right? Not so fast.

Last week a jury in Milwaukee found a Republican election official guilty of ballot fraud. This election official held office in the Democratic Party stronghold of Milwaukee and her name is Kimberly Zapata.

Back in 2022 Zapata used a State of Wisconsin online portal to prove election fraud to a fellow-Republican State Representative. What she did worked and after she went public with what she had done, she was prosecuted as another example of Democrats lawfare. She was charged with fraudulently requesting several absentee military mail-in ballots to the address of State Representative Janel Brandtjen (R) who was not even expecting them.

In 2022, right ahead of the Midterm Election, Wisconsin State Representative Janel Brandtjen (R) opened her home mailbox where she found three authentic mail-in ballots sent to her box.  All three authentic military ballots were addressed to a made up fictitious named person who had never lived there. Zapata did this as an experiment to demonstrate how votes can be stolen in Wisconsin.

So Brandtjen issued a public alert which included a photo of the three ballots she received that went viral on the Internet. An investigation was then launched by the Waukesha County Sheriff’s Department and after several days of investigating they discovered the ballots were not sent by mistake. What they discovered was a Kimberly Zapata had requested them using fake aliases to illustrate a problem.

In 2022 Zapata was serving as the deputy director of the Election Commission in the City of Milwaukee. On the morning of October 25th Zapata made up three names with three fake Social Security numbers and requested military absentee ballots through My Vote Wisconsin (https://myvote.wi.gov/en-us/), the state’s online voter registration database. That was all it took to have three actual military absentee ballots sent to the address she entered which was that of Rep. Brandtjen.

This might sound shocking until you realize “Under Wisconsin law, someone requesting a military absentee ballot does not need to register to vote or provide any photo ID to obtain an absentee ballot. Any request automatically results in a ballot being issued.” This means Zapata did not expose a glitch but in actual failure in the security of Wisconsin’s voting system!

So Wisconsin election official Zapata sent these three fraudulent absentee ballots to the home of a Wisconsin Republican State Representative to prove a point and get a problem she saw addressed in an official capacity at the top in the State’s Capitol of Madison.

So keep in mind Zapata did what she did not even sure it would work and in doing so had no intention of using the bogus ballots she applied for. You can imagine her surprise when Zapata saw the press release by Representative Brandtjen with the picture of the 3 fraudulent ballots she had requested to her address. Like most of us, she probably figured the system would catch the entries as fraudulent.

The next day she told her boss she was the one who requested these three mail-in ballots using a fake name and sent those ballots to Representative Brandtjen. She did so because Brandtjen was the co-chair of the State Assembly’s Election Commission at that time so she was the woman who could actually affect some change.

So Zapata proved yet another way that ballot fraud was possible in the current Wisconsin system as the deputy director of the Election Department. She did so by sending three ballots to the co-chair of the state legislator’s Election Commission.

One would think Ms. Zapata would be recognized as a local hero, right? Again, not so fast.

Besides being fired by the City of Milwaukee, prosecutors then pursued a criminal case against Zapata. For over the past year and a half she has been battling charges against her. She has one felony count of misconduct in public office alongside three misdemeanor counts of election fraud.

Purely partisan Democrats in the City of Milwaukee threw the book at Zapata. As soon as the criminal complaint was made public the Mayor of Milwaukee, Cavalier Johnson, came out with a public press conference saying, “I will not tolerate, and certainly will not defend any misrepresentation by a city official involved in elections. It does not matter to me that this might have been an effort to expose a vulnerability that state law created. This is a blatant violation of trust and Miss Zapata was fired immediately.”

So last week in the courtroom of Milwaukee County Circuit Court Judge Kori Ashley a jury found Zapata guilty. Judge Ashley was appointed by Governor Tony Evers (D) in 2020.

Jury finds former Milwaukee election official guilty in fake military absentee ballot case

CONCLUSION:

Learning of this story I recalled the old adage, “Don’t kill the messenger just because you do not like the message they deliver.” – Sophocles in 442 B.C

The Democrats of Milwaukee, mayor, prosecutors, judge, jury, are all now guilty of obstruction of justice as well as aiding and abetting in a crime and should be so charged as a result of their treatment of Ms. Zapata.

Why?

Zapata never committed any election fraud because the fraudulent ballots were never in her possession nor did she have any intention of casting them! She simply called attention to a wrongful situation in the Wisconsin election system. She is tantamount to a whistleblower and should be given all the benefits of same.

To put it in more simple terms for all the slow people of the left, “Do cops ever get issued speeding tickets for engaging in high-speed criminal pursuits?”

NO! They have immunity!

And the irony of this story is the My Vote Wisconsin website still functions with this loophole intact.

I hope Judicial Watch and True the Vote (https://truethevote.org/) both embrace Ms. Zapata’s case on appeal and make examples of all of these Wisconsin Democrats!

I lived a year in Wisconsin where I taught my first year of school so I know something about Wisconsin. This problem needs to be fixed before November of 2024 or you are going to see some angry Wisconsin Badgers!
