How hostile will the press be to Trump?

5Mind. The Meme Platform

As Jan. 20 looms closer, Americans look forward to President-elect Donald Trump taking office. Many will remember the period between Jan. 2017 and Jan. 2021 when Trump was harassed and disrespected in press conferences, especially by fake news CNN’s Jim Acosta.

Earlier this week, Trump was interviewed by “Meet the Press” moderator Kristen Welker. It was easy to see that the same hostility exists and the press has clear intentions to accost Trump in every way.

In case people think this is the norm, let’s not forget that the press has treated President Joe Biden with kid gloves for the last four years and he gets asked softball questions such as what flavor ice cream he likes.

While the Trump administration during its first term was inexperienced and perhaps slightly afraid of the press and too worried about attacking it directly, this time around, Trump’s press team should attack the hostile press with full force.

Trump won both the electoral and popular votes and he has the backing of the majority of the American people. He should not shy away from his mandate and he should take every opportunity to call out hostile reporters, writers, and editors.

At every press conference, journalists from hostile media outlets should be called out for their dishonesty and shamed in public for their intentional deception of the American people.

Let them defend themselves and pretend that they are just doing their job. But it will be Americans who ultimately judge their behavior.

Trump’s press team should be aggressive, forceful, and unwavering. They should face down the press at every opportunity and not back down when challenged. The onus of honesty must be placed on the press and the American public should make this clear by demanding the same.

If media outlets insist on continuing to lie in their reporting and deceive the American public, then people should protest by unsubscribing.

MSNBC and CNN are currently in a downward spiral. They have lost viewership and subscribers due to their untruthful reporting and devious schemes aimed at tearing down Trump and his supporters.

Americans not only voted in Trump, but also voted out left-wing ideas. This means Americans do not want the hostile, left-wing press having any clout or say, specifically because they have proven that they are untruthful.

For those who need reminding, the leftist press spread the Russia hoax, denied the Hunter Biden laptop story, denied the border crisis, ignored rising crime in Democrat cities, and blamed all of America’s ills on Trump.

It is time to stand up to the hostile press again, but this time more forcefully. We must call out the reporters, writers, and editors by name and they must be held accountable for spreading lies and misinformation, as well as for hiding the truth.

Hopefully, the second Trump administration will make a mockery of the hostile press and prove, through truth and facts, that conservatives are the adults in the room and the correct choice to lead this country.
