There is an interesting story developing in Iowa, the center of our country. A black superintendent Dr. Ian Andre Roberts, of Iowa’s largest school district Des Moines, was arrested by ICE as a criminal illegal alien from Guyana in possession of a loaded handgun and $3,000 in cash. Before his arrest he fled law enforcement in a school issued vehicle.
The Joe Biden Administration had put out a removal order after he overstayed a 25 year student visa and was working without a work visa. The search firm hired by Des Moines appears to have dropped the ball on vetting of Roberts prior to his employment by the Des Moines school board and they should be held accountable.
At first, many parents and students organized to protest Roberts’ arrest. Parents held protest marches on the sidewalks of Des Moines, and middle and high school students walked out of classes. However, that all changed when both taxpayers and parents found out they were played. The 54 year old Roberts passed background checks and signed papers asserting he was a U.S. Citizen.

It appears his fraudulent activity began in another school district in Erie, Pennsylvania. It was, apparently, in Pennsylvania where he had a criminal charge of having a loaded firearm in a vehicle found during a traffic stop that he was not legally allowed to possess as an immigrant.
An investigative independent journalist by the name of Dustin Grage has done a deep dive into Roberts’ life and identified a number of anomalies about his life that fit the stereotypical narrative of Republicans alleging Democrats are importing illegal aliens to vote for them in national elections.
Grage posted, “I have confirmed from Maryland Freedom Caucus Chairman, @MattMorgan29A (R) that Des Moines Superintendent Ian Roberts has been a registered voter in Maryland since 2012.”
Other things Grage have apparently found include:
- Roberts holds a Social Security card issued out of New York and its validity is now being questioned.
- Roberts lied on his I9 IRS form about his citizenship.
- Roberts holds a Maryland State ID available to F, J and M class immigrants.
- Roberts has been receiving mail-in ballots at his Maryland address since 2020, per The Iowa Standard.
- Roberts student visa expired at the end of 25 years last year (2024) and the Joe Biden Administration issued a removal order on him.
- Roberts’ doctoral degree which allowed him to attain an Iowa School Superintendent’s License is now questionable.
CONCLUSION:
After Roberts arrest by ICE, his Iowa School Superintendent’s License was revoked. It has been reported Roberts has since resigned. Some citizens of Des Moines are calling for the entire school board to resign after the board President Jackie Norris called on the public to have “radical empathy” for Roberts after his ICE arrest.

Interestingly, Dore, on his show, reports that Jackie Norris used to be First Lady Michelle Obama’s first Chief of Staff in the White House until 2009 and now is running for Iowa Senate. Dore also reports Roberts previously lost 3 lawsuits in Erie Pennsylvania and consistently had poor job performance in school administration while there.
There is a reason why Americans support President Donald Trump and his law and order approach to politics in America and illegal alien criminal Ian Roberts is a good example of why.
Most Americans are very accepting and not racist at all and anybody that tries to spin the narrative that we are is an enemy spreading propaganda.
Using myself as an example, when I first heard about the remarkable accomplishments of Ian Roberts as an Olympic caliber athlete runner of the past, I had nothing but the deepest admiration for him. But when I heard how he overstayed his visa and faked his credentials to fraudulently enter a 6-figure job who insists on illegally carrying a firearm in our country around children that admiration ended. Skin color was irrelevant to my thought process.
Put another way for the liberals about to come at me; I have a very liberal member in my family who now properly holds all the needed credentials/degrees to become a school superintendent who has been looking for a position.
Roberts was not here “To take the jobs Americans don’t want!”
Roberts was illegally planted in a 6-figure AMERICAN job by a former Obama plant, in exchange for illegally voting for Democrats and encouraging others who look like him to do the same.
Trump should use the face of Ian Roberts as a posterchild to expose Democrat’s lies, because this situation shows what democrats are really about in the matter of illegal immigration!
The funniest part is, it was Democrat Joe Biden who helped expose Ian Roberts! The worst part is that Roberts was a criminal in possession of a handgun running a school district!
