In Defense of Truth: Calling a Woman a Woman

5Mind. The Meme Platform

We are in the midst of “Women’s History Month,” yet half of the country refuses to define what a woman is, and the other half lives in fear of telling the truth about what a woman is!

America is on the verge of confirming a Supreme Court justice who can’t define what is a “woman.” During the confirmation hearings, Sen. Marsha Blackburn of Tennessee asked, “Can you provide a definition for the word ‘woman’?” Ketanji Brown Jackson responded, “No I can’t. I’m not a biologist.” God didn’t design humanity for only biologists to understand, and we shouldn’t accept the lie that gender is some muddled design or a kaleidoscopic choice.

That would be like saying “Can you define the word ‘car’?” with the response “No, I cannot because I am not a mechanic.” Another example would be “Can you define the word ‘building’?” with the response “No, I cannot because I am not an architect.” Do you see how utterly bizarre this is? And this is supposed to be the next Supreme Court Justice of the United States of America?! The times we are living in are equally unbelievable and downright scary.

Across America, truth is under attack, and we as the church must lead the charge in defense of TRUTH! I am profoundly grateful we have men and women in elected office who fight for Biblical Truth, but they should not be our first line of defense. We as the church must lead the charge. We cannot wait for politicians in the halls of power to fight it for us.

The world is in revolt against God’s divine design. God’s divine design for marriage, one man and one woman, married for life. God’s plan for the unborn, “For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb.” God’s first, and most basic is the most recent to come under fire — His plan for humanity, “male and female he created them.”

We are seeing Romans 1 play out before our eyes, “They exchanged the truth about God for a lie, and worshiped and served created things rather than the Creator…” To say that a man is a man, could get you suspended from social media platforms like Twitter has already been proven. Pointing out that a biological male dominating women in athletic contests is unfair could get you labeled as a bigot or a transphobe, and it got sitting U.S. Congresswoman Vicky Hartzler locked out of her account. We’ve seen conservative activists like Charlie Kirk suspended from Twitter for the same thing, and even the hilariously satirical Babylon Bee is locked out of their account for a joke that is now labeled, “Hateful Content.” When our First Amendment freedoms are filtered through Silicon Valley instead of the Constitution, anything that contradicts the narratives being pushed by the radical left is ripe for censorship or suppression.

What we are seeing as a rejection of gender, is simply a rejection of God and His design, a rejection of Psalm 139, “I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.” God’s truth is under attack, and we as the Church must not shrink back and wait for our political leaders to lead the charge. We must speak boldly, with love, but always TRUTH!
