With luck, the United States of America will turn 250 years old in less than 2 years. The problem is there are many posts of gloom and doom on social media and reliable alternative news sources of the Internet discussing America in decline. While our political leaders would have us worry about enemies external to the country and continent, the fact of the matter is many historical collapses were caused by the mismanagement of society from within. Historically, the lack of morality has caused every major modern progressive civilization to fail in a short time.
Some talking heads would have us believe America could collapse because of new age topics such as climate change and mass immigration (invasion). Some are discussing the elites of the World Economic Forum (WEF), World Health Organization (WHO) and United Nations (UN) working in unison to create another global pandemic or famine leading to millions of deaths by disease and starvation. Others are contemplating an economic collapse brought on by national debt money management practices or the de-dollarization of American dollars by other countries of the world.
Russia is a founding member of BRICS currency standard. BRICS is a group of emerging market economies Brazil, Russia, India, China, and South Africa plus many more. They are working together to settle major trades in this new currency instead of the U.S. dollar. Russian President Vladimir Putin recently mentioned this in his interview with Tucker Carlson.
“Look at what is going on in the world,” Putin told Carlson. “Until 2022, nearly 80% of foreign transactions in Russia were settled in U.S. dollars or euros. Currently, it is now down to 13%… By the way, our transactions in yuan accounted for about 3%. Today, 34% of our transactions are made in rubles, and about as much, a little over 34%, in yuan.”
The above information alone proves all those trashing Tucker Carlson wrong for making his trip to Moscow. It is valuable information that was not reported before. Many believe this shift will lead to the destabilization of the U.S. Dollar (USD) and lead to a market crash to come this spring. Some are saying this crash will lead to a second “Greater Depression”.
Larger discussions about a possible collapse of America are based on history. Past historical collapses are discussed in Joseph Tainter’s “The Collapse of Complex Societies” and Jared Diamond’s “Collapse”. Many of these historians highlight the five collapse stages. They are: Financial, Commercial, Political, Social, and Cultural.
If you don’t believe in God you may be spiritually impaired but if you ignore history you are mentally impaired. Many times history actually offers proof of God.
Financial
Our financial systems, both national and international, are based on faith, one thing many believe God wants of us. In the traditional Christmas movie, “It’s A Wonderful Life” the bank run of 1929 is portrayed. The run on America’s banks began following the stock market crash of 1929. Customers withdrew their deposits leaving the banks with no money to lend and loans were defaulted leading to a masse economic crisis called The Great Depression. It all began with a lack of faith at a point in time and for people of faith, this is pretty ironic. How can we have more faith in one another than a God in Heaven?
Commercial
When we talk about commerce there are many aspects to the subject. The Great Depression and international trade were deeply linked. When the stock markets were in decline production and consumption also went down in countries around the globe. Another contemporary topic that comes in discussions of commerce is “deindustrialization”. Some say it is a natural outcome of successful economy associated with a rising living standard. But it can have a negative aspect as well. One aspect to think of is automated manufacturing and robotics. How many workers have these new developments replaced from days just 40 years ago?
Political
Today our politics, too, are becoming unrecognizable from just 40 years ago. The battle today seems to be more about globalism verses nationalism than Republican verses Democrat. To make matters worse, it seems like our political leaders of both parties are selling America out to a scripted agenda. They no longer seem to represent WE, THE PEOPLE, which is ironic since it was our votes to put them in the offices they hold. In a past article I wrote about the evils of “infiltration” which addresses new terms like RINO (Republican In Name Only).

It seems like both our intelligence and justice branches of government have been infiltrated whereby Democrats get a free pass on any wrongdoing while Republicans are brought before our courts on trumped up charges.
Social
When we talk about a nation in decline one of the first signs is actual population going down. When our death rate outnumbers our birth rate, we are physically in decline. This has been happening for a variety of reasons but the main reason is the decline in the traditional family unit. Less than 20% of the LGBTQ community is raising children. Abortion, chosen over adoption, negatively impacts population. Many young people of child bearing age simply want to live for themselves and nobody else. Another alternative possible final reason is that men feel like their gender gets marginalized in divorce court and they get rear ended financially so they prefer to remain single. The older they get with their accumulated wealth, the less chance they will ever be married.
Cultural
One of the last stages of the collapse of a nation is said to be when it’s culture fails. Aspects of pride such as traditions, history, and heritage are trashed for self-hate, anarchy, and chaos. The rule of law and Constitutional and God-given rights of the individual are no longer valued. Open borders with massive numbers of migrants and invaders can rapidly change the culture of a nation whether intended or not. Culture can also be dependent on variables such as a law enforcement and military presence which gives order to life and assurance of stability. Some would even argue a single chosen spoken language bolsters their culture.
CONCLUSION:
It is interesting, to me, how we always hear about these five stages of a nation about to collapse. Books are still being written on these traditional five though. Book such as “The Five Stages of Collapse: Survivors’ Toolkit” by Dmitry Orlov which is in stores now.
The funny thing that I keep coming back to thinking on though is the underlying cause of the decline of a nation always has to do with lack of morals which underlies all 5 of those discussed above. We are seeing a lot of unchecked lying, cheating, and stealing going on these days.
